But on 17th Dec, 2015 JKSSB announced that the Patwari Exam scheduled for 25th of Dec, 2015 stands postponed. The Fresh dates will be announced separately by JKSSB. 

Here are the possible reasons for the postponement of Exam

• The Exam is postponed on the Directions of Revenue Department
• The Preliminary news regrading the postponement of Exam is the "Non-Inclusion of  Urdu in Patwari Exam".

The Qualification for Patwari post in Revenue Departments in "Graduation with Knowledge of Urdu". On 2nd Dec, 2015, Board had announced the Patwari Syllabus, with Zero Weightage to Urdu.  

This furiated the applicants with Urdu Background, who want the inclusion of Urdu in the Patwari Exam and now this mess is created over the Non-inclsuins of Urdu and here by the Board after receiving the directions from the Revenue Department, postponed the Patwari Exam.
