SMVDU invites application in the prescribed application form for the below mentioned posts

1) Professors

2) Assistant/Associate Professors

These vacancies are advertised for the below mentioned Faculties and Disciplines

1) Economics
2) Architecture
3) Computer Science Engineering
4) Electronics and Communications Engineering
5) Mechanical Engineering

Pay-scales: Appointees will get Salary as per the Pay-Scales mentioned below:

1. For Professor: Rs. 37400-67000 (GP: Rs 10,000)
2. For Associate Professor:  Rs. 37400-67000 (GP: Rs 9,000)
3. For Assistant Professor: Rs. 15600-39100 (GP : Rs. 6000)

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Applicants willing to apply for the Post of Professors , Associate Professors & Assistant Professors, must meet the below mentioned Eligibility conditions

1) For Post of Professor: Applicant must be a PHD holder in the concerned subject and must have 10 years of teaching Experience in University/ College. Along with this, applicant must be eminent researcher with his/her work published in minimum 10 Books or publications.

2) For the Post of Associate Professor: Applicant must have good academic records and must have obtained minimum 55% marks in the concerned Subject / Discipline. Applicant must be a PHD holder in the concerned subject, must have passed the NET/SET/SLET, along with minimum 8 years of Teaching Expereince in University / College.

3) For the Post of Assistant Professor: Applicant must have passed the Masters Degree in the respective subject with minimum 55% marks and must be NET/SET/SLET Qualified. Those having PHD degree are exempted from NET/SET
