What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
Applicants willing to apply for these above mentioned posts in the JKSSB, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions
1) Applicant must be the resident of J&K and must have a valid PRC.
2) Age Limit: Applicants must have attained the age of 18 years and should not be above 40 years. Upper Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories as per the Rules.
3) Educational Qualifications: Applicants must full fill the below mentioned post wise Qualifications
- For Jr Assistant: Applicant must be a Graduate and must have the Typing speed of not less than 35 WPM on computer
- For Driver: Applicant must have completed 10+2, along with Heavy Driving Licence from the Competent authority.
- For Assistant Extension Officer: Applicant should be a graduate and must have Economics/ Statistics/Business Administration/Chemistry / Bio Technology/ Microbiology/Pharma/ Electronics/Computer Science as one of the subject . However, preference will be given to those have PG is these subjects.
- For Jr Mechanic: Applicant must with 8th Class Pass along with ITI
- For Painter and Fitter: Applicant must be matriculate, along with ITI in concerned discipline.
- For Knitting Instructor: Applicant must be 10+2 along with ITI in concerned Discipline.
Selection Process: The Selection process for the above mentioned posts, comprises of Written test, Skill test and Interview.

Application Fee: An application fee of Rs 400 is to be paid by submitting the Challan form, after submitting the online application form.
