First is 1496 Cluster Resource Coordinator Jobs in Director School Education and other is Clerical posts in GMC Kathua. While the Jobs in education Department was covered in our previous post. However. Today here we will discuss about the Clerical Posts in GMC, Kathua.

If you are looking for Jobs in Health and Medical Education Department of J&K and particularly in the Government Medical Colleges (GMC's), then we have some good news for you.

Today the Office of Govt. Medical College, Kathua has announced a Job Notification and invited applicants for 45 Posts of . Applicants should note that these posts will be filled on Contractual basis, with period of Contract initially for 3 months and extendable to 6 Months. Moreover these posts are being filled on Academic Arrangement basis as per provisions of S.O 364 of 2020.

Applicants willing to apply for these posts in GMC Kathua, should before applying keep note of the following conditions, as given in the Notification.

i) Posts are purely Temporary and shall be filled for a period of 1 years only (Extendable to 6 years) Or Till the selection is done for JKSSB.

ii) Selectees to this GMC Kathua Recruitment 2023 cannot claim for permanent absorption and for that, they have to sign an undertaking duly attested by Executive Magistrate (First Class)

On 8th August, 2023, through an advertisement uploaded on its official website, invited applications on academic arrangement basis for Domiciles of Kathua district.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Applicants willing to apply for the said posts, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a resident of Kathua district only and must be hold the Domicile Certificate of kathua district.

2) Age-Limit: The maximum age to apply for these posts is 63 years

3) Qualification: Applicant must have the following educational qualifications

Degree in any discipline with Six months Diploma in computer applications
Degree in Computer Applications (BCA/ MCA, BSc. IT, B.E/B Tech (Computer)

Selection Process

The Selection Process for the recruitment of Coding Clerk / Computer operator posts, comprises of Academic Merit only. However, in case no. of applications exceed 200, then there shall be a screening test and thereafter applicants will be shaortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 to the no. of vacancies.

The Syllabus for Screening test shall be uploaded separately on the GMC Kathua Website.

Here is the Criteria for Selection through Academic Merit on pro rata basis.

1) Matric: 05 Points

2) 10+2: 05 Points

3) Graduation : 90 Points (Pro rata basis).

Note: (the pro-rata on point (3) shall be done on the degree of candidate with higher marks
