JKSSB Recruitment 2013 : 3193 Government Jobs in J&K

The New Year 2013 begins on a Welcome Note for the all the Job Seekers, who are Looking for Government Jobs in J&K, as JKSSB (Jammu Kashmir Service Selection Board) had announced its Recruitment Project-2013.

Under the JKSSB Recruitment 2013, the Commission had advertised 3193 various vacancies in the Different State Government Departments in the State Cadre, Divisional Cadre and District Cadre.Applicants looking for Government Jobs in J&K, must not miss this opportunity as, it is after a very long time that a Huge volume of Government Jobs have been advertised


Finally New Recruitment Policy Implemented



It is worth mentioning here that all these vacancies are advertised under the New J&K Recruitment policy, under which the Candidates will be given the 50 % of the Basic Salary for First 2 years and 75 % of the Basic Salary for the Next three years.

It happened in Feb, 2011, then Stayed and Now Implemented

The New Recruitment Policy is approved  by the State Cabinet, in Feb 2011, but its implementation is stayed by a PIL filed in the Kashmir wing of the J&K High Court. In a Significant Development on 13th Dec, 2012, the J&K High Court cleared the New Recruitment policy, there be making the way for the Government to recruit people with this New Recruitment Policy.

It is worth mentioning here that this New Recruitment Policy had been greeted with Large Scale Criticism from among the Student Organisations from all over the State. Some of the Students with said that this Policy of the Government "SUCKS", as for 5 years, you have to beg from the Government.

Vacancies: A total of 477 various vacancies have been advertised for various Departments and different Non-Gazetted posts.Applicants from the Entire State (J&K) can apply for these posts.

What is the Basic Eligibility Criteria to apply for these Vacancies ?


Applicants willing to apply for above mentioned posts, must full fill the below mentioned Basic Eligibility Criteria.

Age Limit: Applicants must be above 18 years of age and not more than 37 years of Age.However there are Age Relaxations as per J&K Govt Rules

State Subject: Applicants must be permanent residents of J&K State and must have valid State Subject.

Qualifications: Applicants must full fill the Educational & Professional Qualification Criteria, as mentioned against each post in the Advt Notification.

Selection Process: The Selection Process for the above mentioned posts shall consists of Written Test/Interview.The Dates for the Written test/Interview will be informed by Print/Electronic media.Candidates are also advised to get in touch with the JKSSB Official Website (www.jkssb.nic.in)

How to Apply for JKSSB Recruitment 2013 ?


Applicants who full fill the Eligibility Criteria for above mentioned posts, must submit their OMR Application form at the respective collection centre before last Date ie 9th Feb, 2013

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 200 in Cash to obtain the application from the Designated J&K Bank branches across the State and Delhi.

Application form : The OMR Application form, (Along with Dummy Form, Acknowledgement Cards, Envelopes, Instruction Sheet) can be obtained from the following J&K Bank Branches across the State

The Sale of Application form will start from 7th January, 2013 and the Last Date to obtain the form is 22nd January, 2013

Important : The Sale of Application forms is extended to 29th January 2013



Receipt of Application form: The Duly filled in OMR Application forms (Along with Photostat copy of OMR Form, Relevant Certificates) must be deposited either personally or by Registered post at the below mentioned Office addresses

  7. I just brought the forms today.. I had to apply for 10 posts, so purchased 10 forms tantamount Rs. 2000/..
    I wish there was a common application form for multiple posts..

The present recruitment policy of the Govt. is not only discouraging but also a big joke.I am in fact surprised that how Government of J & K expects a talented person possessing a technical degree to opt for a Govt. job against a meagre sum of Rs.4500 per month for initial five long years.This negative approach of the Govt. towards the talented but unemployed youth is encouraging the Brain-drain of the state which is a matter of concern for the stake holders of the state.(Peerzada Mushtaq)

  28. Itz simply encouragemt of mor nd mor coruption in state.People who r overqualified 4 these posts r bound 2 get more corupted as 7000 vl b nly their petrol charges/months.So their works vl b of poor quality and short span nd wdout intrst(govt:sasta he phir mehanga padta hai).

  32. Im presently working in jk forest for the last 15 years.i want to apply for new job under category"person already in govt. Job".
    My question is if i get selected. Will i get salary as per new rect. Rules i.e..50% of basic for first 3 years and so on.or considering my service length iwill get pay assuming as i have completed 15 years service.
