Syllabus for JKSSB Panchayat Secretary Posts 2022

The biggest problem with JKSSB is that it never announces the Syllabus at the time of Notification. In fact they took too much time for announcing the Syllabus. So, don't expect that JKSSB Panchayat Secretary Syllabus will be announced after right after the Notification. Sometimes, they announced the Syllabus, just a few weeks before the exam.

This is area, where JKSSB needs to work upon, they can follow the footsteps of SSC and UPSC, where the Syllabus are announced well in advance and candidates can prepare for the same. So, it is high time, that JKSSB needs to learn something from their counterparts.

The Previous VLW / Panchayat Secretary exam of 2017 was held with Basic Qualification of 10+2, so that time, there was JKSSB Common Syllabus for 10+2 Posts. But now the Qualification is changed to Graduation, so there is every likelihood that , the New Syllabus shall be of Graduate Level Posts.

JKSSB Panchayat Secretary Exam Pattern

The Selection Process and Exam Pattern of JKSSB Panchayat Secretary Exam comprises of Merit obtained in the Written Exam only. There won't be any Interview for this post.

Written Exam : JKSSB will conduct the Written Exam, comprising of 120 MCQ's , with each question carrying One mark. There will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.

Only those candidates who rank higher in the Merit list equivalent to the Number of vacancies, they will be called for the Document Verification. Along with Merit List, JKSSB also releases the Waiting list too.

In case a candidate doesn't turn up for the Document Verification, OR did not join the office with in 21 Days, then the Wailing List will be executed, and the next candidate in the Merit shall be selected.
