The various vacancies that had been advertised are for the posts of Junior Engineers (JE's) in (Electrical, civil and Mechanical) disciplines , Geologist Assistants, Finance Assistants and Steno-Typists cum Programming Assistants. Today ie on 25th August, 2012 JKSPDCL, the fast growing Power Generation Corporation of J&K had invited applications on the prescribed format from the Permanent Citizens of J&K for 207 various vacancies in the Department.All these vacancies are advertised under JKSPDCL Advt Notification No. : JKSPDCL/ADM/4342. The Last Date to submit the Prescribed Application form is 29th September, 2012

JKSPDCL Recruitment 2012 : Vacancy Details and Eligibility

Interested Candidates who wish to apply for JKSPDCL Recruitment 2012 are required to go through the vacancy and Eligibility Details given below

(I) Junior Engineers (Civil) 

• Number of Posts: 52 (Gen-29, RBA-11, SC-5 , ST-4 , ALC-2 , Social Caste-1 )
• Pay-scale: Rs 13500/-
• Educational Qualifications: B.E/B Tech with at least 60 % marks in  Civil Engineering OR Diploma with 60 % marks in Civil Engineering OR AMIE from Institute of Engineers Kolkatta

(II) Junior Engineers (Mechanical) 

• Number of Posts: 20 (Gen-12, RBA-04, SC-02 , ST-02)
  
• Pay-scale: Rs 13500/-
  
• Educational Qualifications: B.E/B Tech with atleast 60 % marks in  Mechanical Engineering OR Diploma with 60 % marks in Mechanical Engineering OR AMIE from Institute of Engineers Kolkatta.

(III) Junior Engineers (Electrical) 

• Number of Posts: 30 (Gen-17, RBA-06, SC-03 , ST-02 , ALC-01 , Social Caste-01 )
• Pay-scale: Rs 13500/-
• Educational Qualifications: B.E/B Tech with atleast 60 % marks in  Electrical Engineering OR Diploma with 60 % marks in Electrical Engineering OR AMIE from Institute of Engineers Kolkatta

(IV) Geological Assistants

• Number of Posts: 5 (Gen-03, RBA-01, ALC-01 )
• Pay-scale: Rs 13580/-
• Educational Qualifications: Masters Degree M Sc. in Geology from a recognised university of India

(V)  Finance Assistants

• Number of Posts: 75(Gen-43, RBA-15, SC-07 , ST-07 , ALC-02, Social Caste-01 )
• Pay-scale: Rs 7600/-
• Educational Qualifications: Applicants must be holding masters Degrees in MBA (Finance) OR MFC OR M Sc. (Finance) OR M Com with at least 60 % marks.

(VI) Steno-typists cum Programming Assistants

• Number of Posts: 25 (Gen-15, RBA-05, SC-02 , ST-02 , ALC-01 )
• Pay-scale: Rs 7600/-
• Educational Qualifications: Candidates applying for this post must have 1 year Diploma in Stenography OR 1 year ITI Diploma in computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) OR 3 yaers Diploma in Office Management/Modern Office Practices with min 60 % marks

Age Limit : (As on 01.01.2012) Min: 18 years and Max: 37 years. Relaxation in age for reserved candidates as per Govt rules

Domicile: Candidates must be permanent Residents of State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

Note: Candidates applying with Degree/Diplomas obtained through distance mode will be summarily rejected
