Department of Higher Education invites applications for the post of Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers for Academic arrangement (2016-17) for the subjects in various disciplines

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Applicants willing to apply for above mentioned posts advertised by J&K Higher Education Department, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions.

1) Applicants must be a native of J&K State and Must have a Valid State Subject of J&K

Educational Qualification: Below is given the Post-wise Educational Qualifications conditions

1) For Lecturer Post: Applicant must have obtained minimum 55% Marks in PG (Master Degree) in the concerned Subject along with NET/SLET OR P HD.

2) For Assistant Lecturers: Applicant must have obtained minimum 55% marks at Post Graduation Level in the concerned subject, for which he/she is willing to apply

3) For Librarian Post and Physical Training Instructor: Applicant must have Minimum 55% marks in M Lib for Librarian post and M.PEd for Physical Training Instructor post along with NET / SLET or P.HD

Very Important

The appointment for Lecturer / Teaching Assistant post is only for 1 academic year (2017-18) Or Till the regular selection for lecturer post is done by PSC OR In case of a transfer of a regular employee where the appointee is placed, whichever is earlier.

Other Important Conditions

1) In case, it is found that candidate's PHD schedule in clashing with the Academic Arrangement Duties, then that candidate is liable for disengagement and Disqualification for future selections.

2) Any attempt to influence the Selection Committee, will result in disqualification of candidate.
