What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Applicants willing to apply for Assistant Professor Jobs in different Degree colleges of state are required to full fill below mentioned Eligibility conditions

Age Limit: For General Category Candidates AGE- Minimum- 18 years Maximum- 37 years For physically handicapped- 39years. For SC/ST/RBA/ALC - 40 Years.For in-service candidates- 40 years.For ex-servicemen - 48 years

Educational Qualifications: Candidates must be a post graduate with minimum of 55 marks in concerned subject( 50% marks for Category students)

Other Eligibility Conditions

Candidates must have cleared NET/ SLET/ SET conducted by UGC.
For Ph.D. candidates, they are eligible only if they have obtained their master's degree prior to 19 September 1991.
In the case of Management candidates, in spite of above-mentioned requirements, they are eligible only if they have worked under some good organization.
For Music/Vocal candidates, all above-mentioned requirements plus a good artist in concerned music whose work has been recognized by AIR or who have undergone any traditional training under a traditional master
