JKPSC KAS Exam is known by other name as J&K Combined Competitive (Preliminary) Exam 2014.

JKPSC Exam 2014 : Notification Details
JKPSC invites applications in the prescribed OMR Form for KAS Prelims Exam 2014. Below is given the Schedule and Timeline for conduct of Exam
- Starting Date for Sale of Application forms: 12th May, 2014
- Last Date for Receipt of Application forms:12th June, 2014
- Date of Prelims Exam: 12th October, 2014
- Date of Mains Exam: 1st March, 2015

Pay-Scale: Selected Candidates will be given salary as per the Pay-Scale of f Rs. 9300-34800 PB-2 with grade pay of Rs. 4800.
What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
Applicants who wish to apply and then appear in the KAS Prelims Exam, 2014 are required to full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions
1) Domicile: Applicants must be permanent residents of J&K state and Must have a Valid State Subject of J&K
2) Age Limit: Applicants must have completed 21 years of Age and should not be above 35 years of Age. However, upper age limit is applicable for some Reserved class applicants. For Details, please check the Detailed Advt, given at the end of this post
3) Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have completed Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University OR Foreign University.
Selection Process: The Selection Process for KAS 2014 Exam comprises of Prelims Exam (Objective Type), Mains Exam (Subjective test) and Interview
How to Apply ?
Application Form: The OMR Application forms can be obtained from the Designated J&K Branches against a Payment of Rs 800/- (Rs 550 for SC/ST, RBA, LAC, SLC and PHC) . The Envelope will contain OMR For, SRO 387 containing Syllabus, Acknowledgement Card and an Envelope for submitting the application form.The Sale of Application forms will start from 12th May, 2014.
You can get the District wise List of J&K branches from the Advt., that are authorized to sell the application forms
Receipt of Application forms: The Duly filled in application forms, must be submitted only in the Designated J&K bank branches. The Last Date for receipt of application forms is 12th June, 2014.
It is worth mentioning here that Applications forms should not be submitted either in person or by post to the Commission's Office
