Next JKSSB Graduate Level Exam on 14th July 2017 in 2 Sessions (Morning and Evening)
Current Status: Now the situation is Kashmir valley has improved and it is expected that all the pending Exams are likely to be conducted in the coming months. It is worth mentioning here that JKSSB had conducted the Graduate Level Exam on 27th April 2017, that has been pending since 2015.
JKSSB had shifted the gear from Lazy mode to Fast Track mode, and it will be conducting all the exams in the month of March 2017 and in the coming months. The exam that JKSSB is going to conduct in the month of March is for Graduate Level posts that have been advertised in the last few years.
- It also includes some posts that have been advertised in 2005.
But since, Last week JKSSB had released the Syllabuses and Exam Dates of almost all the Pending exams. be it Matric Level Exams, 10+2 Level Exams and Exams for Graduation Level posts.
Did You know, what is the reason, that JKSSB is going to conduct all the Exams in March, 2017 as JKSSB has to announce Fresh posts including 3450 posts in School Education Departments? Before announcing the fresh vacancies, SSB wants that the backlogs will be cleared.
It's Official, that Government had announced the New Recruitment Policy 2015 and as such, and as directed by the Government, that all the posts, should be filled within 3 months.

In the Last week of June 2017, JKSSB had announced the Written Exam Dates of posts that have been advertised in 2016. As per the Official Notification, JKSSB is going to conduct the Written Exam for these posts on 14th July, 2017 In two sessions (Morning: 10 am to 12:30 PM) and (Evening: 2 PM to 4:30 PM)

JKSSB announced the Date of Postponed Exam of 5th March 2017
Today, JKSSB had announced the Date of the Cancelled Exam of 5th March 2017. As per the Official Notification, the exam will be held on 27th April 2017 from 2 Pm to 4:30 PM.
Downloading Of Admit Cards is expected to start from the 3rd week of April and for which there will be separate notice
For the First Time, JKSSB is conducting the Exam on Weekday ie Thursday. Earlier All the JKSSB Exams in the past were held on Sunday's

On 13th March 2017, JKSSB had announced fresh dates for the conduct of Written exam for various District and Divisional Level Posts on 2nd April, 2017
- It also includes the Exam for various Graduate Level Posts Like Accounts Assistants, Jr. Supervisor etc, but not of those posts, for which the exam was postponed on 5th March 2017.
- Exam Date: As per the Notification, the exam is scheduled on 2nd April 2017 in 2 Shifts via 10:00 am to 12:30 (Morning) and 2:00 to 4:30 PM (Evening Shift)

JKSSB Exam on 2nd April, 2017
Update (As on 1st March, 2017)
JKSSB had postponed the much awaited Graduate Level Exam scheduled to be held on 5th March, 2017, due to bad weather conditions and closure of J&K National Highway.
On being Questioned over frequent postponement of JKSSB Exams, Chairperson JKSSB said " We will conduct this exam on priority basis".
Moreover, JKSSB had also invited representation from candidates to get their Examination Centres shifted from Valley to Jammu and Ganderbal to Leh. So that highway closing may may impact the further conduct of Exam ie Candidate will not get Examination Centers in Home towns.
All we can expect is that JKSSB may conduct the exam in the Last week of March 2017 Or First week of April, 2017

In June 2016, JKSSB had announced three back to back Recruitment Notification for various posts, but most of these vacancies are for backlog posts.

JKSSB Exam Dates 2015 Announced
Update (Announced on 13th Feb, 2015)
If, you remember, following the Mass Copying Incidents in the 25th Dec (Graduation Level) Exam, JKSSB has to postpone its 26th Dec (10+2) Level Exam.
Now, after a gap of 56 Days, JKSSB will conduct this 26th Dec postponed Exam on 21st Feb, 2016. The Admit cards are already uploaded on the Official website of JKSSB and same can be downloaded upto 20th Feb, 2016
Applicants are advised to download the JKSSB Admit cards earlier, as during the Last Days, website will experience huge Traffic and may crash or become un-responsive.
Exam Time: As per the Official Notification, the Exam timing will be 11:00 am to 1:30 PM

We would like to update, all the readers, that JKSSB had today announced the Dates of its 14th Nov postponed Exam. As per the Notification, the New Date for 14th Nov, postponed Exam is 29th Nov, 2015

Through the medium of this notice, all the candidates are hereby informed that the Objective Type Written Test which was earlier fixed for 14th of November, 2015 shall now be conducted on 29th of November, 2015 from 2.00 p.m to 4.30 p.m

Today, JKSSB had postponed the Graduate Level Exams scheduled for 8th Nov and Re-Scheduled the postponed exams for 22nd Nov, 2015.
Here is the text from the Official Notification regarding the postponement and Re-Schedule of Exam.
It is hereby notified for information of the candidates that the Objective Type Written Test, for the Graduation Level posts, scheduled to be held on 08th of November 2015 (Sunday) is hereby rescheduled and shall now be conducted on 22nd of November 2015 (Sunday). However, the venues/Admit Card/Roll Nos and the time i.e 10.00 A.M to 01.00 P.M as already notified shall remains the same.

JKSSB Tentative Exam Dates
The Picture will become clear only when the JKSSB releases its Examination Calendar for Exam scheduled in September 2015.
However, the expected and tentative JKSSB Exam Dates are 13th, 20th and 27th September, 2015
We choose these Dates, as all these Dates fall on Sunday and almost, all the competitive Exams be it of UPSC, SSC and IBPS all are conducted on Sunday.
