What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Applicants willing to apply for JKSSB Recruitment 2021 (Advt. No. 04 of 2020), must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions.

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a domicile of Jammu and Kashmir as per the MHA's Order Dated 3rd April, 2020.

2) Age-Limit: Applicants must have their age in between 18 to 40 years. Other than this, Govt of J&K provides for relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories as per the details below

For SC/ST/RBA/EWS: 43 Years
For ALC/IB, PSP, OSC: 43 years
For Physically challenged Persons:42 years
For Ex-Serviceman: 48 years

3) Educational Qualifications: Applicants willing to apply for Jobs in JKSSB, must full fill the below mentioned Post wise Qualification criteria.

Junior Assistant

Graduation along with speed of not less than 35 WPM and Six Months Certificate Course in Computer Applications

Jr. Scale Stenographer

Graduate from any recognized university having minimum speed

of 65 words and 35 words per minute in shorthand typing respectively.

Driver

Matriculation with license to drive heavy passenger vehicle.

Data Entry Operator

Graduation with 1 years Diploma in Computer SW Applications, OR B Sc.(IT) / BCA OR 3 years Diploma in Computer Applications from an AICTE Recognized Institute

Election Assistant

Graduation along with Typing speed of not less than 35 WPM and Working Knowledge of Urdu

. Also Candidate must have Six Months Certificate in Computer Applications

Jr. Statistical Assistant

Bachelor's degree in Economics / Statistics/Mathematics / Commerce/ Computer Application /Information Technology as one of the elective subjects.

Selection Process: The Selection Process for the Recruitment of various posts in JKSSB comprises of Written test only. Those Qualifying the Written Exam shall be called in the ratio of 1:3 to the no. of vacancies for the Document Verification. However, only those candidates having higher merit will find their name in the Final Selection list.

Written Test: The Written test comprises of 120 Questions (120 Marks) having 2 hours duration. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
