Yes, you heard Right, JKSSB has announced the Recruitment Notification for 771 Fresh Posts in various Departments including the GAD and the Big news is that these posts are for Graduates. So, after a Dry spell of nearly y One year, JKSSB had started releasing Job Advertisements. 

More than 1900+ Posts have been announced with in 30 Days and more will come in the coming Days, as there is a huge shortage of Manpower in Govt Departments of J&K mostly in Non-Gazetted cadre. 

2000 Accounts Assistant Posts Approved 

The Biggest and most awaited Recruitment of 2019 is 2000 Accounts Assistant posts in Panchayati Raj Departments. These posts were First mentioned in the Budget Document as released by J&K Govt in Dec, 2018. On 1st March, 2019, Jammu and Kashmir, Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced 2 Advertisements viz Advt No. 07 of 2019  and Advt No. 08 of 2019

Who is Eligible to Apply for JKSSB Recruitment 2019?

Applicants willing to apply for JKSSB Recruitment March, 2019, must fill the below mentioned Qualification conditions

1) Domicile: Applicants should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir and must have a valid State Subject / Permanent Residents Certificate (PRC)

2) Age-Limit: Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However there is relaxation in upper age limit, as per the criteria given below

i) For SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC: 43 years

ii) For Ex-Serviceman: 48 years

iii) For Govt Employees: 40 years

iv) For Physically challenged: 42 years

3) Education Qualifications: Applicants willing to apply for these posts, must full fill the below mentioned Post wise Qualification Criteria.

Jr. Assistant	i) Graduation along with Six months Diploma in Computer Application ii) Applicant must have knowledge of Type-Writing and able to Record a minimum of 35 WPM on Computer Keyboard Note: Applicants having BCA, BCS, BCM, BE/B.Tech(Computer/IT), MCA, MCS, MCM, BSc(IT), MSc(IT) can also apply
Jr. Scale Stenographer	i) Graduation along with Six months Diploma in Computer Application ii) Applicant must have speed of 65 WPM in Shorthand and 35 WPM in Typing.
Jr. Staff Nurse	i) Applicant should have completed Degree in Nursing ie B Sc. (Nursing) OR ii) 10+2 with Science or above with Diploma in Nursing

Selection Process for JKSSB Recruitment 2019

As, each posts is having different Roles and Responsibilities and as such we have a Different selection criteria for the posts. 

Post	Selection Process
Jr. Assistant	Stage-1 (Type-Test) : All the candidates will have to First appear for Type Test . Only those candidates who record a speed of 35WPM with 90% accuracy, will the Shortlisted for Next Stage ie Written exam. Type Test carries 60 Points Stage-2 (Written Exam): Qualified candidates in the Type test will have to appear in the Online Exam of 40 Marks (1 Hour Duration). Questions in Type Test will be From i) English – 20 Marks (20  Questions) ii) Reasoning- 10 Marks (10 Questions) iii) Computer- 10 Marks (10 Questions Final Merit: The Final Selection comprises of Marks obtained in Type Test and Written Exam taken together
Jr. Scale Stenographer	1) Type Test 2) Written Exam 3) Shorthand Test (Dictation and Transcription)
Jr. Staff Nurse	1) Written Exam : 150 Marks (2:30 Hours) 2) Interview:20 Marks

How to Apply?

Applicants who full fill the above mentioned eligibility criteria and willing to apply for JKSSB Recruitment March 2019 (Advt 07, 08 of 2019), must submit their applications through online mode with in the dates of Online Registration window.

1) Starting Date of Online Application: 6th March, 2019

2) Closing Date for Online Application: 28th March, 2019

Application form: Applications are to be submitted through online mode only. You need to viist the JKSSB Portal at www.ssbjk.in and submit the application form. 

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 350 as application cum Examination fees for each post. You can pay either through Online mode OR in J&K Bank through Challan form OR through Common Service Centers
