Bumper JKSSB Recruitment 2016 Announced : 1184 Posts . Apply Online before 21st June, 2016
It is worth mentioning here that Out of 1184 Jobs, 68 Posts are advertised for State Cadre, 94 vacancies for Jammu Division, 92 Posts for Kashmir Division and remaining 930 are District Cadre posts. The District wise break up of these posts is given in this post itself.
This is the first JKSSB Recruitment Notification of 2016 and posts have been advertised via Notification No. 1 of 2016 Dated 01-06-2016.
As per the Notification, the Online Registrations will start from 6th June, 2016 and the last date to submit the online application is 21st June, 2016. An application fee of Rs 350/- is to be charged for every post and that is to be paid through the system generated challan form in any branch of J&K Bank.
Applicants must note that, these posts are filled under the J&K New Recruitment Policy, 2015 rules, that states Appointees shall be entitled to minimum of Pay-Scale along with the Grade pay. It is only after the 5 years of service, that the appointee is entitled to Full Pay along with allowances. However the seniority of employees, will confer from the date of appointment.

JKSSB invites online applications, from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for the below mentioned various posts under District, Divisional and State Cadre
It is worth mentioning here that Official Notification is yet to be uploaded on the Official website of JKSSB. This Advt is published in the the local newspaper of J&K Dated: 5th June, 2016.
Most of the posts that have been advertised are in the Education and Health & Medical Education Department only.
There is literally No Vacancies for General Category people and all the vacancies are for reserved categories only. Applicants must note that these are not fresh vacancies, but backlog vacancies, that remained un filled during the previous JKSSB Advertisements.

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
Applicants willing to apply for these backlog vacancies in the JKSSB Notification 2016, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions
1) Domicile: Only Permanent residents of J&K can apply for these posts. For District and Divisional cadre posts, applicant must be resident of respective District/Division only.
2) Age-Limit: Applicants, willing to apply for these posts, must be aged between 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years.
3) Education Qualification: As the posts, are different, so is the Qualification. Applicants are advised to read the Official Advt for post wise Qualification criteria. However for some of the popular posts, the Qualification is given as under.
(i) Teacher: 10+2
(ii) Jr. Assistant: Graduation along with Typing speed of 35 WPM
(iii) Dental Technician: 10+2 along with diploma in relevant field
(iv) Jr. X-Ray Technician: 10+2 along with diploma in relevant field.
Selection Process: The Selection Process for the Recruitment of these posts, comprises of Written test Or Skill test OR Typing test followed by Interview.

Application form: The application is to be submitted through online mode only. There are no other mode of application submission.

Application Fees: The application fees is to be paid through system generated challan form, at any J&K Bank branch. The cost of application per post is Rs 350/-
