Its time for Cops Jobs in Jammu and Kashmir as, the Jammu and Kashmir had announced its Constable Recruitment Project-2012.Under the JK Police Recruitment 2012, the Organization had invited applications from the eligible candidates who are permanent residents of J&K for the post of Constables in the J&K SDRF Battalions.It is good opportunity for all those who are looking for Police Jobs in J&K.Interested candidates are required to submit the prescribed application form before 29th September, 2012

Although there is no information, on the Total Number of Constable posts advertised by J&K Police, but it has been clearly mentioned in the Advt. that Recruitment will be done under strictly District wise i.e application hailing from one District cannot apply for the other district.

Who can apply for JK Police Constable Recruitment 2012 ?


Applicants are required to full fill the below mentioned Eligibility criteria to apply for Constable Jobs in Jammu and Kashmir Police

Age Limit : Min : 18 years and Max: 28 years (As on 01-01-2012)

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must have Passed at least 10th Class (Matric) from a recognised Board/University in India

Physical Standards: i) Height : 5` 6`` ii) Chest: 33 ⅟2 `` (Expanded)

How to Apply ?


Application form: Interested Candidates who full fill the above mentioned eligibility criteria are required to Obtain the Prescribed Application form.The Application form, can be downloaded from the Official Website of J&K Police ie @ www.jkpolice.gov.in. You can also download the Application form from here

After Obtaining the Application form, candidates are required to fill the form, attach the Photograph and attest the Relevant Certificates.

List of Certificates to be submitted along with Application form

  1. 4 Recent Photographs
  2. Date of birth Certificates
  3. Academic Qualification certificate
  4. J&K Permanent Resident Certificate (State Subject)
  5. Reserved Category Certificate
The duly filled in Application form, along with above mentioned Certificates and Documents will be sent to the below mentioned address:

For Kashmir Province (Including Leh and Kargil districts) : Commandant SDRG Ist Battalion Bghat Srinagar

For Jammu Province: SDRG 2nd Battalion, Gulshan Ground, Jammu

The Last Date for Receipt of application forms at the above mentioned addresses is 29-09-2012
