Big News: J&K Bank Exam is Postponed, New Dates Soon

Due to the unrest going on in our state of Jammu and Kashmir, after the Martyrdom of 49 CRPF Jawans in one of the cowardly acts of Pakistans, on 14th Feb, 2019 and thereafter Law and Order Problems in the state, J&K Bank has decided to postpone the Online Exams for PO and Banking Associates starting from 21st Feb, 2019.

As per the J&K Bank Official Notification released today, the exams are being postponed in view of the current situation in Jammu and Kashmir. The Fresh Exam Dates, will be announced soon after the Law and Order situation gets better.

Majority of Students are already furious with the center allotment policy of J&K Bank. In a poll conducted on our Facebook Page (Facebook.com/Jobsinjammu), more than 75% candidates polled in favour of changing their Examination centers. Most of the candidates have given preference for centers with in the state and most of them are allotted centers outside the state.

Out of 2800 votes polled more than 2100 people want to change their Examination Centres to J&K.

Meanwhile, here are the Reasons that led to the Postponement of J&K Bank PO and Banking Associate Online Exam 2019.

1) Candidates from Jammu are unable to Download their Admit Cards, as curfew is imposed from last 4 days.

2) Public Transport is completely off the roads in Jammu and All the market establishments are closed.

So taking Exams in this situation is not feasible to both the administration and students.

That's Why J&K Bank has decided to postpone the PO and Banking Associate Exams scheduled from 21st Feb, to 24th Feb, 2019.

Update ( 18th Feb, 8:00 PM)

Since the morning , there were speculations that J&K Bank will postpone the PO and Clerk Exam and Finally the Big News coming on 21st Feb at 8 PM directly from J&K Bank Chairman.

Mr Parvez Ahmad, informed aspirants from his Twitter handle that J&K Bank Exam scheduled from 21st to 24th Feb, 2019 stands postponed and Fresh Dates is this regard will be announced soon.
