JK Bank PO Syllabus 2018 (New and Revised)

J&K Bank has announced the Recruitment Notification for 1450 Posts on 6th Oct, 2018, but that was only the Short Advertisement and Not the Detailed Notification.

J&K Bank, will announce the Detailed Notification on 10th Oct, 2018 and Online Registration will start from 20th Oct, 2018 Onwards. So, we have to wait till 10th Oct, 2018, before the picture gets clear on the J&K Bank Syllabus.

Moreover, there is a trend with J&K Bank, as it never announces the Syllabus and Exam Dates in the Notification. These are announced later and if they continue with the same practice, then candidates will have to wait for some more time.

For 2015, J&K Bank RE Recruitment, the bank has announced the Syllabus only One month before the Exam, while the Notification was announced 5 Months back.

1) Test of Reasoning: 35 Questions (35 Marks)
2) Test of Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Questions (35 Marks)
3) Test of English: 30 Questions (30 Marks)

Note: There was a negative marking of 0.25 Marks for Every Incorrect answer.

J&K Bank PO Syllabus 2018 (Officially Announced)

The long wait of thousands of J&K Bank PO Aspirants ended on 10th Oct 2018, when J&K Bank PO Notification was officially announced and all the rumours regarding the J&KBank Syllabus were wiped out.

As per the J&K Bank PO Notification, Syllabus is upgraded to IBPS PO Level. Now aspirants preparing for IBPS PO Exams will feel home when they see the J&K Bank PO Syllabus.

Earlier, J&K Bank PO Syllabus comprises of Single Written Exam and Interview.

But now there will be Three Tier-1 Examination System viz Prelims, Mains and Interview. And this upgrade in the syllabus puts J&K Bank at par with its National counterparts ie Public Sector Banks of India.

Prelims Exam: All those candidates who apply for J&K Bank PO Exam, will have to appear in the Prelims Exam (Online Mode), that comprises of 100 Questions to be attempted in 1 Hour

Note-1: There will be Negative Marking in the Prelims Exam.

Note-2: Applicants need to Qualify each of the Tests, by obtaining the minimum cut off Marks to be decided by the Bank. Moreover, applicants need to Score minimum aggregate marks in all the tests taken together to get Shortlisted for Mains Exams.

Note-3: For MAINS Exam, candidates will be Shortlisted in the ratio of 1:10 the No. of vacancies

Mains Exam: Those who qualify the Prelims Exam, will have to appear in the MAINS Exam, for which the Syllabus is given below

Candidates who Qualify the Mains Exam will be Shortlisted for Interview in the Ratio of 1:3 the No. of vacancies.

Note: There will be Cut off at Section Level and Aggregate Level in the MAINS Exam too ie Candidates will have to Score minimum Section wise cut off marks and also the minimum marks at aggregate.
