1) Post: Dean , Faculty of Basic Sciences

No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
Age Limit: Below 55 years
Pay-Scale: Rs 37,400 - Rs 67000 (GP: Rs 10000)
Educational Qualifications: Ph.D. in any Discipline along with 15 years of Experience in Teaching OR Research as Professor Or Chief Scientist in any Agriculture University Or Research Institute.

2) Post: University Librarian

No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
Age Limit: Below 55 years
Pay-Scale: Rs 37,400 - Rs 67000 (GP: Rs 10000)
Educational Qualifications: A Ph. D. Degree in Library Sciences OR High 2nd Class Masters Degree in Library Sciences with exceptionally good academic record
Experience: Applicant must have minimum 12 years o Experience in Library of Repute preferably an Agricultural University

3) Post: Professor

No. of Vacancies: 13 Posts

Age Limit: Below 55 years
Pay-Scale: Rs 37,400 - Rs 67000 (GP: Rs 10000)
Educational Qualifications: Applicant must be Doctorate (Ph. D.) in the concerned Subject, along with 10 years of teaching Experience.

4) Post: Associate Professor / Sr. Scientist

No. of Vacancies: 12 Posts
Age Limit: Below 55 years
Pay-Scale: Rs 37,400 - Rs 67000 (GP: Rs 10000)
Educational Qualifications: Applicant must be Doctorate (Ph. D.) in the concerned Subject, along with 08 years of teaching Experience.

5) Post: Assistant Professor / Jr. Scientist

No. of Vacancies: 07 Posts
Age Limit: Below 55 years
Pay-Scale: Rs 15,600 - Rs 39100 (GP: Rs 6000)
Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have Masters Degree with minimum 55% marks in the concerned Subject, along with Ph. D and NET.

Applicants willing to apply for any of the above mentioned posts in the SKAUST Jammu, must submit their applications in the prescribed format before the Last Date ie 20th Oct, 2015

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 1500 as application fees in the form of Bank Draft favoring "Comptroller, SKUAST of Jammu" payable at Jammu.

Receipt of Applications: The Duly filled in application form, along with Bank Draft and other requisite documents/ Certificates, should reach the below mentioned address by Speed post/ Registered post before 20th Oct, 2015
