Not Happy with the JKSSB 2154 Teacher Recruitment for 14 Districts? Check the Govt's Reply Why No Posts for Ladakh and Jammu Division and Details on Upcoming 8200 Fresh Teacher Posts

If you are reading this post, then chances are that you are aware of the recently announced JKSSB Teacher Posts for 14 Districts of J&K. On 27th Dec 2017, JKSSB Chairman, Mr Simrandeep Singh Tweeted at his Official Twitter Handle that 2154 Teacher Posts will be announced on 28th Dec 2017 and this Tweet went Viral in no time, as aspirants have been waiting long for the announcement of Teacher Jobs in J&K. But who knows, this Teacher Notification has something discriminatory for Two Particular Regions ie Jammu and Ladakh.

When the Notification and Detailed Advertisement was Finally announced, the District wise vacancy positions reflect the Discriminatory attitude of J&K School Education Department towards the Un-Employed and Educated youth of Jammu and Ladakh Division.

So, What the JKSSB Teacher Recruitment 2018 actually has, that it is Termed "Discriminatory" by Many.

1) 86 % (1864 Posts) Announced for Kashmir Division
2) 14% (290 Posts) for Jammu Divison
3) 0% (Zero Post) for Ladakh Division.

From the above Figures, you can see, that this Teacher Notification, has Bumper posts for Kashmir Division, while Jammu and Ladakh Division are completely Ignored.

What is more Shocking that Jammu being (J&K's Winter Capital), along with Other 7 District has Zero vacancies.

Here is the List of Districts, for which No vacancies have been announced

1) Jammu
2) Kathua
3) Ramban
4) Poonch
5) Doda
6) Kishtwar
7) Leh
8) Kargil

It is worth mentioning here that Last time, Teacher Recruitment in the state was announced in 2013 when more than 7400 Posts were announced and Since then there was No Teacher Notification in Last 4 years. It was only in the Last week of Dec 2017, that JKSSB announced the Notification for 2154 Teacher Posts,  and that too for 14 Districts only, while in 2013, Posts were announced for All the 22 Districts of J&K.

As soon the news of this Discrimination of Teacher Recruitment went viral, Opposition Parties Like Congress and Panthers Party demanded that this Notification should be taken aback and a revised Advertisement should be announced, taking care of all other Districts.

"A mere 15 per cent share for Jammu and zero share for Ladakh speak volumes about the discriminatory policy of the state government, which should immediately rectify the notification and ensure due share to all the three regions of the state," a Congress spokesman said.

Is JKSSB at Fault?
