Today, J&K Government has approved the Mega Fast Track Recruitment for 11846 Non-Gazetted Posts in 9 Government Departments of J&K. These posts will be filled in the Phase-II of Accelerated Recruitments. Applicants should note that these posts are already been identified and ready for Referred to J&K Service Selection Boards and their Advertisements can be announced anytime. 

It may also be noted that this will be the Biggest Recruitment Drives by the JKSSB and year 2020 will be remembered as "Golden year" for Jobs/Advertisements in Government Sector. Moreover, it may also be the first time that so many Government departments are participating in a Recruitment drive. 

Apart from the Non-Gazetted Posts, 553 Gazetted posts are also approved and ready to be referred to J&K Public Service Commissions. So, In Total, 12399 New Posts are approved and will be announced soon.

Department-Wise List of Vacancies (Phase-2)

In all Nine-Government Departments are participating the Phase-2 of Accelerated Recruitment Process. These Posts are already identified and ready for advertisement. Here is the Department-wise list of vacancies

Which Posts will be advertised?

1) Home Department: With 3019 Posts, Home Department has the highest number of vacancies. Out of these 3019 Posts, 3013 are Non-Gazetted Posts, while remaining Six are Gazetted posts.

• Sub-Inspectors
• Jr. Assistants etc

2) Health and Medical Education Department: H&ME has the Second highest number of vacancies. A total of 1488 Posts are vacant in Health Department, which includes 35 Gazetted and 1463 Non-Gazetted Posts. In H&ME Department, most of the posts are specialized ones and requires Technical Qualifications. 

These posts are expected in H&ME Departments

• Jr. Staff Nurse
•  Pharmacist
• Technician / Technician
• Storekeeper
• Data Entry Operator
• Computer Operator etc.

3) Finance Department: This department has posts mostly for Graduates. In this phase, 1366 Posts will be filled up by the Finance Department of J&K.  There are 120 Gazetted and 1246 Non-Gazetted Posts in this Department.

4) Rural Development Department: In Rural Development Department, 1186 Non-Gazetted posts have been approved for advertisement. This Department has also a good number of vacancies for Graduates, which include posts of 

•  Village Level Worker
• Gram Sevak
• Gram Sevika.
• Data Entry Operator etc

5) PWD (R&B): In the Public Works Department, 565 New Posts have been approved. It includes 26 Gazetted Posts and 539 Non-Gazetted Posts. Some of the Posts, that will be advertised by JKSSB are

 6) Forest Department: For the Forest Department, 533 Posts have been approved for advertisement. It includes 27 Gazetted and 506 Non-Gazetted Posts. Common posts that Forest Department expected to advertise are

• Assistant Director-1

7) Revenue Department: In revenue Department 528 Fresh Non-Gazetted posts have been approved. Some of the common posts that are expected from the Revenue Department are

8) Agriculture Department: In the Agriculture Department, 06 Gazetted and 519 Non-Gazetted Posts have been identified. The Recruitments for these posts is expected to begin shortly. Some of the Expected Posts in Agriculture Department are

• Jr. Agriculture Extension Officer
• Jr. Assistant etc

9) Jal Shakti Department: In Jal Shakti Department, a Total of 508 Non-Gazetted Posts have been approved. We expect the following posts to be advertised in the Upcoming JKSSB Recruitment
