The Notification regarding the JKPSC Lecturer Jobs is available on the Official website of JKPSC. It is expected that Detailed Notification, will be published in the Local Newspapers too. It is worth mentioning here that, it is after a very long time, JKPSC is going to conduct the Recruitment for 10+2 Lecturers. In, 2014, applications were invited, but that time, but it was only for Lecturer Jobs Physical Education only.

This in a great opportunity for those, who were not selected in the JKSSB Teacher Recruitment drive held in 2013. Applicants, must note that 1060 Lecturer vacancies have been advertised for various subjects. With 121 vacancies, Botany is on the top of the list of subject and similar or equivalent no. of vacancies have notified for Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Maths Discipline.

Meanwhile, there is another Notification, that is generating huge interest among Job seekers is JKSET 2016 Notification, for determining the Eligibility criteria for Assistant Professor posts.  It is worth mentioning here that JKSET is being held after a gap of 3 years. 

So, this is a must apply, if you want Job in Higher Education in J&K.

It is important to note here that these posts have been advertised under the New Recruitment Policy 2015, that means, During the First 5 years, applicants will get Salary only as Minimum Pay in the form of Basic Salary + Grade Pay. It is only after the completion of Probation period of 5 years, you will get Full Pay.

Update (As on 16th May, 2016)

Today, JKPSC, through a notice on its official website, announced the detailed schedule and Exam dates for 10+2 Lecturer Exam. As per the Notification, the Exams will start from 5th June, and will conclude on 26th June, 2016.

JKPSC will soon issue the E-Admit cards for appearing in the Exam. Meanwhile, JKPSC had choose a few districts other than Jammu and Srinagar, as exam centers.

Jammu and Kashmir Public Service commission invites online applications from the permanent residents of J&K for the posts of Lecture in 10+2 for higher secondary school of J&K

Pay-Scale: Rs 9300- Rs 34800 (GP: Rs 5400)

Who can apply for JKPSC Lecturer Jobs ?

If, you are excited to apply for the Job of 10+2 Lecturers by JKPSC, then you should full fill these Eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant, must be a permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir

2) Age Limit: Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However there are relaxation in upper age limt, as per the criteria given below

• For SC/ST/ALC/SLC/RBA: 43 years
• For In Service Govt Employees: 40 years
• For Physically Challenged: 42 years
• For Ex-Serviceman: 48 years

3) Educational Qualifications: Applicant must have completed their Post Graduation (Masters) in the specified subject/ Discipline

• For Computer Science Discipline: Applicant, must have completed MCA DOEACC B Level Course
• For Stenography: Applicant, must have PG Degree, along with course in Stenography from Government ITI

Selection Process: The Selection process for the Recruitment of Lecturer by JKPSC is not mentioned in the Official Notification, and there will be separate Notification in this regard.

However, it is expected that Selection process comprises of Written test and followed by Interview.However, once the Scheme of Selection will be notified, we will update the same on this page.

Important Dates

Before, you proceed to apply for JKPSC Lecturer Jobs, you must note these Important Dates.

• Date of Announcement of Notification: 19th March, 2016
• Starting Date for Submitting the Online Application: 24th March, 2016
• Closing Date for Submitting the Online Application: 25th April, 2016
• Last Date for Payment of Application Fees: 26th April, 2016.

How to Apply ?

Update (As on 24th March, 2016)

Today, JKPSc had issued a corrigendum for the 10+2 Lecturer Recruitment, regarding the Submission of applications. Earlier, JKPSC had asked to deposit the  Hard Copy of Application form and Challan form at the JKPSC's office. Now, as per the New Notification, there is no need to submit the Hard copy of Documents.

Here is the content of Corrigendum

The following paras in Box titled “IMPORTANT” shall and shall always be deemed to have been deleted in ab-initio

“Candidates will be required to submit a hard copy of the downloaded online application form alongwith the bank challan duly stamped by the bank authorities within two days after depositing fee in the office of the PSC Complex located at Reshamgarh ColonyBakshi Nagar, Jammu/ Solina, Srinagar or by post as the case may be.

The Commission will not be responsible for any postal/courer delays after the above prescribed last date”.   

Applicants willing to apply for the JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment, must apply online and submit their applications before 25th April, 2016 (Last Date).

Application Fees: The application fees is to be paid through System Generated Challan form in any J&K Bank branch. Remember, the Last date for Payment of fee is 26th April, 2016

Applicable fee is Rs 505 for General Candidates and Rs 255 for Reserved Category candidates,

Online Application: Applicants must note that only Online mode of applications will be accepted and as such, applicants, should submit their applications online at the JKPSC Official Website at www.jkpsc.nic.in. The detailed Instructions for submitting the Online application form, are given in the the Notification itself.

Applicants are advised to keep the scanned copies of their recent photograph and signature ready, at the time of submitting the online form.
