Out of these 11800 vacancies 553 are Gazetted posts, for which the recruitment is to be done by JKSSB. While other are Non-Gazetted posts, which shall be filled by JKSSB.

If we talk of Gazetted Posts, then we have maximum posts in the Finance Department (120 Vacancies), followed by Cooperative Department (90 Posts), Law Department (60 Posts), Forest (27 Posts), PWD (26 Posts) etc.Applicants should note that these posts have been identified by the Government for Direct Recruitment.

Now, Lets discuss about the Posts, that have been referred and in the pipeline to be announced. These are Assistant Registrar Posts in the Cooperative Department and Public Prosecutor posts in the law department. As per the reliable information, 90 Posts of Assistant Registrars in Cooperative Departments have been referred to JKPSC and PSC has asked for some clarifications related to these posts, once the clarifications comes, these posts will be advertised. At this point of time, we are not in a position to tell you about the Exact Date of Advertisement, but we can safely say that JKPSC AR Recruitment will be announced in 2021.

What is the Eligibility Criteria?

Applicants willing to apply for the post of Assistant Registrar in Cooperative department, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir, as per the Domicile rules issued on 1st April, 2020 and later amended on 3rd April, 2020.

2) Age-Limit: Applicant must have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However, there is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved categories as per the New Reservation rules issued on 20th April, 2020.

Selection Process: The Selection Process for the recruitment of Assistant Registrar in Cooperative Department comprises of Prelims Test, Mains Exams and Personality Test. Only those candidates who qualify the Prelims test will be called for the Mains Exams and thereafter for Personalty Test.
