1) JKSSB Accounts Assistant: Accounts assistant post is one such job, that has a requirement in various departments including, Finance, Education, Revenue, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj. In July 2019, J&K Govt has approved for creation of 2000 Accounts Assistant posts in Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. 

These posts were scheduled to be advertised in August 2019, however, these could not be advertised at that time and now these will be announced in 2020. The Basic Qualifications for these posts is Degree in any discipline. 

2) JKSSB Jr. Assistant: Jr. Assistant or Clerk is one such post, that has quite a good no. of openings every year. Jr. Assistants are required in almost all the Govt Departments, and this is why, every year, Thousands of Job Seekers apply for these Jobs. Recently, JKSSB has changed the Criteria for Jr. Assistant posts, as mentioned below

i) Typing Test:20 Marks
ii) Written Test: 80 Marks

Note: Only those candidates who qualify the Typing Test having minimum speed of 35 WPM with 90% accuracy will be eligible to sit in the Written Exam.

3) JKSSB Teacher Exam: In J&K, Government Teacher Jobs are one of the most popular jobs in J&K. The Recruitment for teacher posts in J&K is done by JKSSB. Previously, teacher posts in J&K was announced in Dec-2017 for 14 District of J&K. Now, the Next JKSSB Teacher Recruitment is expected to be announced in 2020-21.

The basic Qualification to apply for JKSSB Teacher Jobs in "Degree in any discipline". However, thee are three categories of teacher jobs in J&K as mentioned below

i) General Teacher: These teachers have to teach students subjects other than Science and Maths.

ii) Science/Maths Teacher: These teachers have to teach Science/Maths subjects.

iii) Urdu Teachers: Only those who have studied Urdu in their Graduation degree can apply for Urdu Teacher posts. They have to teach Urdu language in Govt. Schools
