Most of the posts announced in this Notification are Graduate Level posts, while there are some posts, for which the qualification is 10+2. JKSSB Assistant Store Keeper Recruitment 2017 : Vacancy Details.
JKSSB invites online applications from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir, for the below mentioned various posts
1) Post: Assistant Store Keeper / Clerk
2) Department : Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs
3) No. of Vacancies:161 Posts.
Here is the category wise break up of these posts
- Open Merit: 92 Posts
- RBA: 32 posts
- SC: 13 posts
- ST:16 Posts
- ALC: 5 Posts
- Other Social Caste: 3 Posts
4) Cadre: Kashmir Division
Note: These vacancies are particularly for the residents of Kashmir Division. ie
Only those Candidates belonging to 10 Districts of Kashmir Divisions are only eligible to apply for these posts.
If you are not a resident of Kashmir division, then you can apply for Other Posts announced in JKSSB Advt No. 3 of 2017.
Who can apply for Assistant Store Keeper /Clerk Jobs?
Applicants willing to apply for Assistant Store Keeper / Clerk Posts in the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, they need to full fill the below-mentioned Eligibility Conditions.
1) Domicile: Applicant should be a permanent resident of J&K, and must belong to any of the 10 District under the Kashmir Division.
2) Age-Limit: Applicant should have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years
3) Education Qualifications: Applicant should be a Graduate having completed Degree in any discipline from a recognized Indian University. Candidates having completed 5 years Integrated PG course are also eligible to apply.
Selection Process
The selection process for the recruitment of Assistant Store Keeper / Clerk comprises of Written Exam (Objective Test) through Computer Based Mode.
Syllabus for Assistant Storekeeper cum Clerk Posts will be released by JKSSB soon, on their official Website.
It is worth mentioning here that Selection Process comprises of Merit obtained in the Written test only. There is No Interview for this post.

Applicants willing to apply for these posts should submit their application form through online mode before 11th Dec 2017.
Online Applications: Applications are to be submitted through Online mode only at the JKSSB Online portal at www.ssbjk.in. The Detailed Instructions for submitting the online form are given in the Official Notification itself.
Application Fees: Applicants need to Pay Rs 350 as application fees, which is to be paid in the form of either through Challan form Or through Online mode (Net Banking, Credit / Debit Card etc) Even you can take the help of Common Service Centers (CSC's) for submitting the payment.
