What is the Eligibility Criteria?


To appear in the CGL, 2017 Exam, applicants must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions

1) Nationality:  To apply for a Govt Jobs in India, applicants must be an Indian Citizen

2) Age-Limit: Applicants age should be in between 18 years to 28 years. But the exact age limit for CGL-2017 will be known, only after the Notification will be announced. However, there are some posts for which Age Limit is 20-30 years or 20 to 27 years etc. 

3) Educational Qualification: To appear for CGL 2017 Exam, the applicant must have completed Degree in any discipline from a recognised Indian University.

Selection Process: As the Govt of India had abolished the Interviews for Non-Gazetted posts, therefore there will be No-Interviews and the selection process comprises of Preliminary (Tier-1) and Mains (Tier-2) Exam only.

Online Application: SSC accepts only online mode of applications for the CGL Exam. Applicants are advised to read this post on SSC CGL Online Application form 2017, to submit the application form, without any difficulty.

Remember, the Last Date of submitting the CGL Application form is 16th June 2017. So, apply well in advance to avoid any last minute trouble.
