How to Submit JK Police Online form ?

Ending the age old process of accepting the Paper application forms for various posts in J&K Police, here comes the new era, where you can now apply for Jobs in J&K Police while sitting at home and in a matter of few clicks.

Important Dates for submitting JK Police Online form.

Before, you proceed for submitting the application form, it is important to keep note of Important Dates for submitting the application form

1) Starting Date of Online Registration : From 2nd week of Jan, 2017

2) Closing Date of Online Registration: 2nd week of Feb, 2017

Note: The form dates for submitting the JK Police online form are yet to be announced and will your communicated to candidates through JK Police website and Newspapers.

Pre-Requisites for Submitting the Application form 

You need a few details, documents prior to submitting the JK Police application form.

1) A valid email Id for receiving time to time communications from JK Police Recruitment Board.

2) A Scanned Photograph of Size between 20 Kb to 50 kb having dimensions 3.5 cm (width) by 4.5 cm (Height)

3) A Scanned Signature and thumb impression of size between 10 kb to 50 kb with dimensions 3.5 cm (width) by 1.5 cm (Height)

Step by Step Process for Submitting the JK Police Online form.

It is important to note that only those candidates who meet the Eligibility Criteria for Sub-Inspectors in J&K Police can fill the online form. So, it is always better, that you check the Eligibility conditions before proceeding to apply for SI Posts in J&K police

  • Age: 18 to 28 years
  • Qualification: Graduation
  • Height : Minimum 5" 6'

1) Open the JK Police Official Website at

2) On the Homepage, Find the link with "Notifications" and hover on it, there, you will find the "Recruitment Notices" click on it. 

3) It will be open the "Recruitment Page". Now find the link containing "Online application for the post of Sub Inspectors in J&K Police" and click on it.

4) It will take, you to the New Page, that contains the Online Interface for submitting the JK Police Online form.

5) Now, Fill the Online application form, by following the On-Screen Instruction. After filling the online form, check it for any errors and and then click on "Submit Button". After successful submission of application form, system will generate an Application Number, that will be used for future references. Like Downloading the Admit Card, Checking the Result etc.

6) Thereafter, you have to upload the already Scanned Photograph and Signature. 

7) After uploading of Photo and Signature, now the system will generate the option to make the payment of Application fees.

Application fee of Rs 300/- can either by paid by E-Challan in any J&K Bank branch or through Common Service Centres (CSC). 

E-Challan: For making payment through E-challan, you have to visit any J&K bank branch and take the Print out of the Challan form and pay Rs 300 application fee. Don't forget to collect the Receipt from the Bank.

Note: Candidates have to wait for 24 hours after submitting the application form to deposit fee through E-Challan in J&K bank

Payment through CSC: After submitting the application form, you need to visit the nearest CSC Centre and provide them the application no. against which the payment is to be made. CSC charges Rs 10/- as service charge for making the payment.
