Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums Job 2015 : Details

The said Govt Department had released its Recruitment Notification in the Local Newspapers of J&K Dated: 24th Jan, 2015

Here the Post-wise and Vacancy wise break-up of Posts in Department of Archives, Archaeology and Museums

1) Chowkidar: 7 Posts (OM: 04 Posts, RBA: 01 Post, SC: 01 Post, ST: 01 Post)
2) Orderly: 2 Posts (OM: 02 Posts).

Pay-Scale: All the selected applicants will be given salary as per the Pay-Scale of Rs (4440-7440)+1300

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Applicants willing to apply for these Class IVth Posts in Department of Achieves, Archaeology and Museums must meet the below mentioned eligibility conditions.

1) Domicile: Only the Permanent residents of J&K state are eligible to apply for these posts.

2) Age Limit (As on 01-01-2015): Only those who have completed 18 years of age and those below 40 years of Age can apply for these posts. Age Relaxation as per the J&K Govt Rules and Details given in the Detailed Advt.

3) Educational Qualifications: Minimum Qualification is 10th Pass and Maximum Qualification is 12th Pass. Remember, no weigthage will be given to Higher Qualification above 10+2. So if you are Masters in any subject, you won't be given preference.

Selection Process: The Selection of candidates for Class IVth Posts, comprises of Marks Secured by Candidates in the Qualifying Examination (10th OR 12th) and Viva Voce.

Weigthage for Matric Marks: 60
Weigthage for Higher Qualification: 20 (Upto 12th Class)
Viva-Voce: 20

Applicants who are willing to apply and meet the above mentioned eligibility conditions must submit their applications in the prescribed application form before 16th Feb, 2015.

Receipt of Application Forms: The Duly Filled in application forms, along with requisite Certificates and Documents, must be submitted in the Office of Director Archives, Archaeology and Museums Mubarak Mandi Old Sectt. Jammu before 16th Feb, 2015.

The starting Date for Receipt of Application forms is 27th Jan, 2015.
