The recent Poll Debacle in J&K Forced the Ruling Govt to appease masses by making People Friendly policies and implementing the Mantra for Good governance and going by these Lines, Govt had started announcing Recruitment Notifications for Unemployed people of J&K

Few Days back , JKPSC had released the Notification for 1657 Lecturer Posts in various Degree colleges of J&K and Today JKPSC had released another Notification and invited applications for 207 Lecturer Posts in Health and Medical Education Deptt, GMC Jammu.

This Bumper Hiring by JKPSC is being done on the recommendations of J&K state Govt and keeping in view the Upcoming state Elections scheduled in Nov-2014.

Applicants who have obtained Graduate and Post-Graduate Degrees in Medical Discipline (MBBS and M.D) are eligible to apply for Lecturer and Consultant Jobs in Health and Medical Education Deptt.

Remember, the Last Date to apply for Lecturer (GMC Jammu) and Consultant (Health and Family Welfare Deptt) Jobs by JKPSC is fixed at 23rd July, 2014.

JKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2014 : Vacancy Details

Today, through the medium of this post, we are going to share the various vacancies advertised in the Health and Medical Deptt.

Posts: Applications are invited for the Following posts

Total Posts: 227

1) Lect. in Pathology, in GMC Jammu: 1 Post

2) Consultant in Health and Family Welfare Department: 226 Posts

Here is the Discipline-wise break up of vacancies in Health and Family Welfare Department.

Pay-Scale: Appointees will be paid Monthly Salary, as per the Pay-Scale given below.

For Lecture Post: Rs 9300 - Rs 34,800 ( Grade Pay: Rs 5400)

For Consultant Post: Rs 15600 - Rs 39100 ( Grade Pay: Rs 6600)

Who can apply for these Posts ?

Applicants desirous of serving in the GMC Jammu and Family and Health Department, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions.

Age Limit: Applicant must be Minimum 18 years and Max: 40 years of Age (As on 1st January, 2014). Age Relaxations are there, as per the Govt rules.

Educational Qualifications: Applicants must full fill the below mentioned Post-wise Educational Qualification conditions

For Lecturer Post: A Post Gradation Degree in Pathology (MD Pathology).Applicant must also have 2 years of Experience in the relevant field.

For Consultant Post: MBBS along with Post-Gradation Degree in the Concerned Discipline or subject.

How to Apply ?

Applicants who meet the above mentioned Eligibility conditions are required to apply on the prescribed application format (OMR Form) and submit their applications before 23rd July, 2014.

Application Fees: The Cost of Application form is fixed at Rs 500 ( Rs 250 for Category Candidates).

Application Form: The Application form, can be obtained from the J&K Bank Counters located in the Commissions Offices at Jammu and Srinagar. You can get the application forms, on all working Days in between 9:00 am to 3:00 Pm

Receipt of Application forms: The Duly filled in Application form, along with all the required Documents/Certificates, must reach the Commissions Office before 23rd July, 2014. After that, No form will be accepted.
