A Total of 8339 vacancies have been announced.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) that does the recruitment for KV Schools in India invites online applications for the below mentioned various posts.Here is the Post wise Break up of vacancies
1) Principal (Group-A): 76 Posts
2) Vice-Principal: 220 Posts
3) Post Graduate Teachers: 592 Posts
4) Trained Graduate Teachers: 1900 Posts
5) Librarian: 50 Posts
6) Primary Teachers: 5300 Posts
7) Primary Teacher (Music) : 201 Posts
Who can apply for these Posts?
Applicants willing to apply for these posts must full fill the below-mentioned Eligibility Conditions
1) Principal : Applicant must have attained the age of 35 years and maximum age should not exceed 50 years.
3) Posts-Graduate Teachers: Applicants must not be above 40 years of age.
i) Applicant should have completed PG in concerned subject with not less than 50% Marks
ii) Applicant should have completed B Ed. from a recognized University
iii) Applicant should have proficiency in teaching in Hindi and English
iv) It is desired that the applicant should be Computer Literate.
4) Trained Graduate Teachers: Applicant should not be more than 35 years of age.
5) Librarian: Applicant should be below 35 years of age.
i) Applicant should have completed B Lib. Or Graduate with 1-year Diploma in Library Sciences.
ii) Applicant should have working Knowledge of Hindi and English
iii) Applicant must have knowledge of Computer applications.
6) Primary Teacher and PT (Music): Applicant should be below 30 years of Age.
Selection Process: The Selection Process for the recruitment of various posts in KVS comprises of Written Test and followed by Interview. Final Selection is done on the basis of candidates performance in the Written test and Interview taken together.
