If you are reading this page, then chances are that you have applied for JKSPDC Recruitment, that was announced in August 2017. A Total of 173 Posts were announced, out of which, 90 Posts are for Jr. Engineer (Civil), while the remaining posts are distributed for various other categories of posts, which includes, Jr. Engineers (Other streams), Jr. Assistant, Draftsman etc.

At the time of the announcement of JKSPDC Notification, it was mentioned that Written Exams, will be conducted in December 2017, but after that, they were postponed, with the assurance to conduct the exams in Jan 2018 and Till Date Exams, could not be conducted, the reason best known to the authorities.

However, on 4th March 2018, JKSPDC had released an informal Notification through a post on their Facebook page, where they have expressed their apology for not being able to start the Examination Process and it looks the reasons are quite Genuine. As we all know the Managing Director of JKSPDC is Dr Shah Feasal, who is well known for his good governance, and with him at the chair, the Examination system, will be more transparent.

JKSPDC Revised the Exam Calendar and Released the Admit Cards

On 26th may,2018, JKSPDC has announced the Confirmed Written Exam Dates for various posts. A change is being made in the Exam Dates for various posts and this is due to the festival of Eid-ul-Fitr falling on 16th / 17th June, 2018.

Moreover, JKSPDC has also released the Admit Cards for these Exams scheduled to start from 18th June, 2018. JKSPDC is conducting the Exam through CBT, as well as Pen Paper Mode. You can check from the List above.

How to Download Admit Cards for JKSPDC Exam 2018.

Soon, after the announcement of Exam Date, next thing you would be looking for is the availability of Admit Cards.

Rather than Paper Admit Cards, JKSPDC has released E-Admit Cards, that you can download within clicks from your Computer / Laptop and Smartphone.

The Date for Downloading the JKSPDC Admit Cards is announced now and as per the Official Notification, you can download Admit Cards from 26th May 2018 onwards. JKSPDC has also intimated candidates regarding the availability of Admit Cards by sending SMS's on their Registered Mobile Number.

Pre-Requisite for Downloading the Admit Cards

Before, you proceed to Download the JKSPDC Admit Cards, you should have the Reference No. / Registration No. without which, it is not possible to download the Admit Cards.

To get the Reference No. / Registration No., you have to Download a PDF File that contains the List of All the Candidates with their Reference cum Registration Numbers. There are 382 Page in this PDF File and after Downloading it you can use the "Search Functionality" to find the Number and with which you can download the Admit Cards.

Here are Steps for Downloading the JKSPDC Admit Cards 2018

1) Open the Official Website by entering www.jkspdc.nic.in Or you can Google "JKSPDC Admit Card 2018" and find the Offical Website.

2) Click “Admit Card/ Admit Card Download” on the header/ Quick Links on the website

3) On the Admit Card Download Page, you have to Enter the Registration No, Date of Birth and Captcha and click on the Login Button.

4) Next, it will Display the PDF File containing your Admit Card.

5) You can now Download the Admit Card in PDF format and follow the Instructions given as therein and appear for the Exam

Why JKSPDC Written Exams are Delayed?

If you have applied for JKSPDC Posts, then it is natural of you to get frustrated as more than 8 months have passed since the announcement of Notification, and there is no announcement of Exam Dates.

However, the following points will make things clear to you.

1) A Large Number of 30,000 applicants have applied for various posts

2) Most of Examination Centers have been booked by the State and central Govt. Recruitment agencies, Like, SSC, UPSC, JKSSB, JKPSC and IBPS and there is also a dearth of Examination centres in the State.

3) Moreover, many candidates have submitted the representations for Delaying the conduct of Exams, owing to bad weather conditions.

JKSPDC wants that equal opportunities will be given to all the candidates, and Not a single candidate should miss the exam, owing to bad weather conditions.

When JKSPDC Exams will be conducted?

On 28th March 2018, JKSPDC has announced the Written Exam Dates of various posts. As per the Official Notification, JKSPDC will conduct the Exams on 16th and 17th June 2018.

For some Posts, JKSPDC will conduct the Exams through Computer-based mode, while for the posts having Large No. of applicants, Exam will be held in Pen Paper mode.
