Today, in this post, we are going to share the vacancies announced by Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPA&RD), Regional Office Located at Sidhra Jammu. This is the First Recruitment Notification of 2016 by J&K IMPA and such these vacancies have been advertised under Advertisement No. 01 of 2016 .

J&K IMPA Vacancy 2016 : Details

Institute of Management and Public Administration (IMPA), with its Regional Office in Jammu, invites applications for the below mentioned posts having requisite Eligibility criteria.

1) Computer Assistant / Jr. Assistant



  • No. of Posts : 06 (OM: 03, RBA: 02, SC:01)
  • Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 (GP-Rs 1900)
  • Qualification: Applicant, should be a graduate, and have typing speed of 35 Words per Minute along with Six month certificate course or diploma in computers.


2) Receptionist / EPABX Operator


  • No. of Posts : 02 (OM: 01, RBA: 01)
  • Pay-Scale :  Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 (GP-Rs 1900) 
  • Qualification: Applicant, should have basic Qualification as Graduation, along with Six Months Certificate course in Computer applications
  • Experience : Applicant, must have minimum 2 years of Experience in handling EPABX.
3) Class IVth


  • No. of Posts : 04  (OM: 03, SC: 01) 
  • Pay-Scale : Rs 4400 - Rs 7700 (GP: Rs 1300/-)
  • Qualification: Middle Pass.
4) Driver


  • No. of Posts : 02
  • Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 ( GP: Rs 1900)
  • Qualification: Applicant, should be 8th Pass along with valid license for Plain and Hill Driving
5) Electrician


  • No. of Posts : 01
  • Pay-Scale : Rs 5200- Rs 20200 (GP : Rs 1900)
  • Qualifications : Applicant, should be matriculation having ITI Diploma in specific trade along with Experience of 2 years or equivalent.
Note : The number of posts is not final and, may increase on Decrease, depending upon the final vacancy position.

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?


Applicants willing to apply for any of the above mentioned positions, should full fill the following eligibility conditions

1) Applicant, should be a permanent resident of J&K only.

2) Age-Limit : Applicant's maximum age should not exceed 40 years (As on 01-01-2016) . For other categories, age limit is given as under

  • For Reserved Categories : 42 years
  • For Physically Challenged : 43 years
  • For Ex-Service man : 48 years

If, you are interested to apply for any of these posts and full fill the eligibility criteria, then you should submit the application form in the prescribed format before 26th October, 2016.

Application forms : Applications are to be submitted in the prescribed format only. You can obtain the application form, either by downloading it form the Official Website of J&K IMPA Or you can take its Print out from the Official Advertisement itself.

Application fees : Applicants need to pay Rs 300/- as application fees in the form of Bank Draft Favouring Financial Advisor / CAO J&K, IMPARD from any J&K Bank branch , payable at Jammu only.

Receipt of Applications : The Duly filled in application form, along with Demand Draft and requisite photostat copies of Documents / Certificates, should reach the Office of Deputy Director, J&K, IMPRD Jammu before 26th Oct, 2016
