It is worth mentioning here that SKAUST had advertised 56 various vacancies for its campus located in Jammu. The various Jobs includes Officer Level Posts, Non-Gazetted posts and Class IVth posts. So there is opportunity for everyone, irrespective of your Qualification.
SKAUST Recruitment Notification, is released online on the Official Website of SKAUST Jammu and the Print version of the Advertisement is published in the Local Newspapers of J&K. The applications are invited under Notification No. 8 of 2015 Dated 5th May, 2015

SKAUST Jobs 2015 : Vacancy Details
Offline applications in prescribed format are invited by SKAUST for the below mentioned posts
1) Class IVth and Equivalent: 27 Posts
2) Stenographer: 10 Posts
3) Accounts Assistant: 04 Posts
4) Security Guard: 04 Posts
5) Cook / Hostel Attendant: 03 Posts
6) Assistant Director (Statistics): 01 Post
7) Jr. Engineer (Civil): 01 Post
8) Assistant Manager: 01 Post
9) Works Supervisor : 01 Post
10) Cleaner: 03 Posts
11) Electrician: 01 Post
What is the Eligibility Criteria?
Applicants willing to apply for above mentioned posts in SKAUST Must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions
1) Domicile: Applicant must be permanent resident of J&K and must have a valid state subject of J&K.
2) Age Limit: Applicants age must be in between 18 years and 40 years . However for Reserved categories, there is age relaxation of (+2 years) for Physically Challenged, (+3 Years) for SC/ST/OBC/OSC and ALC Candidates
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must full fill the below mentioned post wise Educational Qualifications.
1) Assistant Director: Applicant must have Masters Degree in Statistics along with 2 years Experience as Statistical Officer OR PHD Degree in Statistics
2) Jr Engineer: Applicant must have completed degree in Civil Engineering
3) Accounts Assistant: Applicant must have completed Graduation along with work experience in any Organization.
4) Assistant Manager: Graduate along with Diploma in Hotel Management.
5) Stenographer: Graduate along with Shorthand and Six Months Certificate in Computer applications.
6) For All Other Posts: Applicant must have completed 10+2 along with Diploma in relevant trade.
Selection Process: The Selection process for the recruitment to all these posts, comprises of Skill Test, Written test and Interview.
How to Apply ?
Applicants who are eligible and willing to apply for these posts in SKAUST, must submit their applications in the prescribed format to SKAUST Jammu before 1st June, 2015
Application Fees: Unreserved candidates (General) will have to pay Rs 1200 while others (Physically Challenged and Reserved) have to pay Rs 600 as application fees for Assistant Director post. For all other posts, application fee is Rs 500 for General Candidates and Rs 250 for (Physically Challenged and Reserved Category Candidates).
The application fees are to paid in the form of Bank Draft Favouring Comptroller SKUAST-J, payable at Jammu.

Receipt of Application form: The Duly filled in application along with PRC, Bank Draft, Mark Sheets, relevant Certificates and Documents must reach the below mentioned address only through Speed Post OR Registered post before 1st June, 2015 upto 5 PM
