JKCET 2014 Exam Notification : Apply Online

The Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BOPEE) had released the Notification cum Advertisement for JKCET 2014 Exam. As per the Notification, For JKCET-2014, the Board is accepting both Offline (Prescribed form) as well as Online Application forms. The Online Registration for JKCET-2014 is started earlier and you can submit your applications online before 5th May, 2014.

What is JKCET- 2014 Exam ?




JKCET stands for Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance test. This test is for students who have just passed 12th Class and looking to take Admission in the various Professional Courses. These Courses include ( BE / BTECH & MBBS/BDS/BAMS etc).

This test includes Govt as well as Private Institutes of the State. JKCET is the only test in the state that will make your dream true of becoming a Doctor Or an Engineer.

JKCET-2014 (Details)


The Board had invited applications in prescribed format from the Permanent residents of J&K for taking admission to the various Professional Courses.

List of Courses, for which you can apply form

1) MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BUMS
2) Physiotherapy
3) Diploma in Dental Hygiene
4) BE (in Civil, Mechanical, IT, Comp. Sc etc)

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?


Applicants willing to apply and appear in the JKCET-2014 Exam, must full fill the below mentioned Eligibility conditions

1) State Subject : Applicant must be a permanent resident of J&K state.

2) Age Limit : Applicants must be below 17 years of Age (As on 31st Dec, 2014) for taking admissions into the  Medical Professional Courses (As MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BUMS and Diploma in Dental hygiene courses.)

3) Educational Qualification : Applicants must have passed the 12th Class with minimum 50% Marks (40% for reserved Categories) from a recognised Board Or Equivalent.

  • For taking admission to Medical Courses, applicants must have English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as his/her subjects in the 12th class
  • For taking admission to Engineering Courses, applicants must have English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths as his/her subjects in the 12th class

How to Apply ?


JKBOPEE is accepting both Online as well as Offline application forms. The Last Date to submit the Online applications is 5th May, while that of Offline (Paper Application form) is 7th May and 8th May (with Late Fee)

Application form : The Prescribed application form can be obtained from the Designated J&K Bank branches on making a cash Payment of Rs 1200/- . Apart from this you can also obtain the CET froms from the BOPEE Offices located in Jammu and Srinagar by making Payment in the form of Bank Draft.

The Sale of Application forms will start form 21st April 2014 to 5th May, 2014

Receipt of Application forms: The Duly filled in application form, along with attested photostat copies of Documents/Certificates must be submitted in the BOPEE Offices located in Srinagar and Jammu on all working Days upto 7th May between 9:00 am to 5:00 Pm.
