JKKVIB is a statutory board, constituted under the State Government Act Known as "J&K Khadi and village Industries Board Act-1965". Its main aim is to promote, organized and Development of Khadi and village industries in J&K. The department is headed by a Chairman and has its Offices at Divisional and District level.

JKKVIB invites applications in prescribed format, for the below mentioned posts. Applicants must note that these posts have been advertised in suppression against the previous advertisement issued in 2013.
1) Jr. Supervisor : 33 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 ( GP : Rs 1900/-)
- Qualification : Graduate in any discipline
2) Jr. Assistant / Record Keeper : 23 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 ( GP : Rs 1900/-)
- Qualification : Applicant should be a Graduate and have typing speed of at least 35 Words per minute
3) Accounts Assistant / Jr. Auditor : 23 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 ( GP : Rs 2800/-)
- Qualification : Basic Qualification is Graduation Only. However desirable Qualification is Diploma is Commerce / Commercial Accounting Or Mathematics as one of the subjects in Degree level. Along with this, applicant, must know knowledge of accounting on computers.
4) Jr. Statistical Assistant : 08 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 5200 - Rs 20200 ( GP : Rs 2400/-)
- Qualification : Graduate with Economics OR Statistics as one of the subjects in Degree along with knowledge and preparation of statements on computer
5) Executive Officer : 06 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 9300 - Rs 34800 ( GP : Rs 4800/-)
- Qualification : Post Graduate OR M Com /Economics , But desirable in MBA
6) Assistant Executive / Recovery Officer : 02 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 9300 - Rs 34800 ( GP : Rs 4300/-)
- Qualification : Post Graduate OR M Com /Economics , But desirable in MBA
7) Publicity Officer : 01 Post
- Pay-Scale : Rs 9300 - Rs 34800 ( GP : Rs 4800/-)
- Qualification : Applicant should be a Graduate, with Diploma in Journalism Or Post Graduate in Mass Communication.
8) Field Publicity Officer : 01 Post
- Pay-Scale : Rs 9300 - Rs 34800 ( GP : Rs 4200/-)
- Qualification : Graduate with diploma is Mass Communication.
9) Law Officer : 01 Post
- Pay-Scale : Rs 9300 - Rs 34800 ( GP : Rs 4800/-)
- Qualification : Applicant should be a Law Graduate along with 2 years of Experience and practice at bar.
10) Orderly: 01 Post
- Pay-Scale : Rs 4440 - Rs 7440 ( GP : Rs 1300/-)
- Qualification : Minimum Qualification is Matric and Maximum Qualification is 10+2
11) Field Man / Beekeeping : 02 Posts
- Pay-Scale : Rs 4440 - Rs 7440 ( GP : Rs 1300/-)
- Qualification : Applicant, should be a Matriculate and is trained with practice of apiculture.
Other Eligibility Conditions
Apart from the above mentioned Qualification conditions, applicants should also full fill the below mentioned eligibility criteria.
1) Applicant, should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir
2) Age-Limit : Applicant should have attained the age of 18 years and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. The cut off date for determining the age limit is 1st Jan, 2016.
Relaxation in upper age limit as per the J&K government rules.
Selection Process : The selection criteria for the recruitment of all the above mentioned posts, comprises of Written Examination, Interview, and Experience

2) Interview : 30 Points
3) Experience : 10 Points

Application forms : Prescribed application forms are embedded within the Official Notification. You can download the Notification from the Official website of JKKVIB and then take the Print out of the application forms. Along with application form, you need to attach the photostat copies of following documents
1) Date of Birth
2) PRC
3) Qualification Certificates
4) Category Certificate (If any)
Application Fee: The cost per application is Rs 300/- and that is to be paid in the form of Bank Draft / Postal Order / Banker's Cheque drawn in favour of J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board, payable at srinagar.
Receipt of applications : The Duly filled in application form, along with application fees and other required documents, can be submitted personally or by post / Courier at the below mentioned address
