1) Sr. Scale Stenographer: 

  • No. of Vacancies: 06 Posts
  • Pay-Scale: Level-7 (Rs. 44900-142400)
  • Qualification: Graduation from any recognized University with Diploma in Stenography recognized by the State Government

2) Jr. Scale Stenographer

  • No. of Vacancies: 06 Posts
  • Pay-Scale: Level-6B (Rs. 35600-112800)
  • Qualification: Graduation from any recognized University with Diploma in Stenography recognized by the State Government

3) Steno-Typist

  • No. of Vacancies: 4 Posts
  • Pay-Scale: Level-5 (Rs 29200-Rs 93200)
  • Qualification: Graduation from any recognized University

4) Compositor

  • No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
  • Pay-Scale: Level-2 (Rs 19900-Rs 63200)
  • Qualification: Graduation in any discipline with Diploma in Computer Applications. 

    • 5) Electrician

  • No. of Vacancies: 01 Post
  • Pay-Scale: Level-2 (Rs 19900-Rs 63200)
  • Qualification:  10+2 with Diploma in Electrician Trade from a recognized institute.

    • 6) Driver-II (Entry Level)
    • No. of Vacancies: 07 Posts
    • Pay-Scale: Level-2 (Rs 19900-Rs 63200)
    • Qualification: Middle Pass with Valid Driving License
    7) Driver-I (Entry Level)
    • No. of Vacancies: 01 Posts
    • Pay-Scale: SL-2 (Rs 14800-Rs 47100)
    • Qualification: Middle Pass with Valid Driving License

    Important Eligibility Conditions


    Applicants willing to apply for J&K High Court Recruitment 2020 must also full fill these below mentioned Eligibility Conditions.

    1) Domicile: Applicant should be a Domicile of Jammu and Kashmir, as per the Domicile Rules issued by Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India and in terms of S.O 166 Dated 18th May, 2020, issued by General Administration Department of J&K.


    2) Age Limit: Applicants willing to apply for any of these posts, must have their age in between 18 to 40 years. However, there is relaxation in age limit, as per the criteria below
    • For SC/ST/RBA/ALC/OSC: 43 years
    • For Physically Challenged Candidates: 42 years
    • For Ex-Serviceman: 48 years
