Who can apply for ACF Jobs in Forest Departments?
Applicants willing to apply for Assistant Conservator of Forests, must meet the below mentioned eligibility conditions.
1) Domicile: Applicants should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
2) Age-Limit : (As on 1st January , 2017) : Minimum age should be 18 years while the maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/RBA/ALC/ Social caste, upper age is relaxable upto 43 years.
3) Educational Qualifications: Applicants willing to apply should be a Science Graduate Or Engineering Graduate with one of these subjects in the Graduation level

Selection Process: The Selection process for the recruitment of Assistant Conservator of Forests comprises of Preliminary exam and followed by Mains exam and thereafter Interview. The Syllabus for ACF Written test is given in the Annexure A of the Official Notifictaion

1) Online Registration starts from : 28th April, 2017
2) Last Date to Submit the online application is : 28th May, 2017
3) Last date for Depositing the fee through Challan form: 2nd June, 2017
4) Last Date for Recipet of Hard copy along with Bank Challan and Documents: 7th June, 2017
Application Form: Applicants need to apply only through online mode. Online applications can be submitted by logging on to the JKPSC Official website at www.jkpsc.nic.in
Here are the steps for submitting the applictaion form
1) Open JKPSC Official Website @ www.jkpsc.nic.in
2) After that, find the Online application Link, and open it
3) Thereafter proceed to Fill the application form by following the On-Screen Instruction
4) Applicants also need to upload their Photo and Signature and as such you should keep the Scanned copies of Photo and Signature ready with you.
5) Once the application form is submitted, you should take the Print out of the Challan form and Application form.
Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 1005/- as application fees in the form of Challan form in any J&K Bank branch . However, reserved category candidates are required to pay only Rs 505.
Receipt of Application form: Applicants need to submit the photocopy of the Online Application form, Receipt of Challan form of Application fee and Other Requisite documents at the JKPSC's office before 6th June, 2017
