Jammu University had changed the Website for Submitting the Online Applications. Now you can submit the Online applications at www.juet2015.org

Jammu University had released the Notification for JUET 2015 Exam last week and it was greeted with massive protests from student fraternity including the student political wings Like ABVP and NSUI.

The reason for these protests is that Jammu University had made the JUET only a screening test and no weightage is given to it for taking admissions in various academic courses. That means, both the toppers and Bottomer's in JUET will be considered equal. The Full weightage is given to academic marks and no weightage for marks scored in the JUET Wrong

This is fairly wrong, as the fate of those students is sealed who did not fare well in academics. So, it is very important to give weigthage of JUET marks. Even when, JUET was introduced in 2011, and even in the following years, there was distribution of marks between the academics and Entrance test. 

But in 2015, Jammu University had taken the anti student step and make the Entrance test as only a Qualifying test and that starts the protests from students

Now following the series of protests, Jammu University had to released a Notification informing 2 Major changes.

JUET 2015 Dates Announced: Apply online at www.juet2015.org

Jammu University had announced the much awaited Dates of Jammu University Entrance Test (JUET-2015). JUET is conducted by Jammu University once in an year, in the month of June. In 2015, Jammu University Entrance test (JUET) will be held on 25th June, 2015.

It is worth mentioning here that JUET is the Common Entrance test for taking admissions in the Post-Graduate and Undergraduate Courses offered by Jammu University. Those who make it to the Merit List can take admissions in various UG & PG Courses for academic session 2015-16.

JUET is only a Screening test, and marks obtained in this test, will be not serve as a ranking factor to get the admissions. Applicants who pass the JUET-2015 (Screening Test) , will be given admissions for the UG / PG Courses only on the basis of their academic merit.
