It is after a very long time, that JKSSB is conducting the recruitment for these posts in the Finance Department. Last time, these posts were announced in 2015 . Eligibility Criteria for Inspector, Sub-Inspector Posts
There is no change in the Eligibility criteria for these posts, and it remains the same, as we have in previous recruitment.
As per the Official Notification, Degree in any discipline is the criteria to apply for Inspector, Sub-Inspector Jobs. There is no bar on Percentage to be required in the Qualifying Examination. So, anyone with a Bachelor Degree can apply for these posts.
Apart from this you should be a Domicile of J&K and must have your age in between 18 to 40 years. However, there is a relaxation in upper age limit for candidates from reserved categories.

Selection Process for Inspector, Sub-Inspector
The Selection Process for the Recruitment of Inspector, Sub-Inspectors in Finance Department, comprises of below mentioned criteria
1) For Inspector Posts: Written Test (80 Points) + Viva Voce (20 Points). Candidates will have to appear in the Written Test of 120 Marks (2 Hours Duration). Marks obtained in the written test out of maximum marks shall be proportionately converted into points out of 80
2) For Sub-Inspector: 100% Weightage to Written Exam only.

Other than General Knowledge & Current Affairs and J&K GK Section, No major changes have been made. However, is these section, Topics have been changed and more focus is given on Economy, Covid-19 etc.
