J&K Revenue Department announced the Recruitment Rules for Tehsildars under Direct Recruitment Quota. 




If you are looking for Gazetted Level Jobs in Revenue Department of Jammu and Kashmir, then we have some Big news for you. On 29th April 2020, J&K Revenue Department has issued the SO No. -144, which defines the Recruitment Rules for Gazetted Posts in Revenue Department of J&K. 

Actually, these Rules are meant for the "Recruitment of Tehsildar's" in Revenue Department of J&K. The issuance of these Rules, don't mean that Posts have been advertised. It will be advertised only in case the Department refers the vacancies to JKPSC. So this post is regarding the "Recruitment Rules" and Not the "Advertisement of Posts"

As per the SO, These Rules may be called the Jammu and Kashmir Revenue (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 2020. With the announcement of these Rules, the Existing  Jammu and Kashmir Revenue (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules 1977 are repealed.

In this post, we are going to share the Complete Details of Recruitment Rules announced by the Revenue Department of J&K. Applicants willing to apply for the post of "Tehsildar" in Revenue Department, should read these rules, as these Rules will govern the Upcoming JKPSC Recruitment 2020.

These Rules were issued by Department of Revenue Govt of  J&K on 29th April 2020. Salient Features of these Rules are given as under

1) These Rules govern the Recruitment of "Tehsildars" in the Revenue Department of J&K.

2) Schedule-I: As per the Schedule of S.O-144, the Sanctioned Strenght of "Tehsildar" is 260 Posts, of which
  • Deputation Reserve @ 10% = 23 Posts
  • Leave Reserve @ 5% = 11 Posts
3 Schedule-II: As per the Schedule-II, 50% of the Tehsildar posts in the Revenue Department will be filled by the Direct Recruitment through Junior Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service ie KAS Exam.
