2000 Accounts Assistants Official Notification Announced. JKSSB to complete Selection process with in 45 Days 


 The much awaited Notification for creation of 2000 Accounts Assistant Posts in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Departments is announced by Directorate of Accounts and Treasuries, Finance Department, Government of J&K. These posts were first mentioned in the J&K Budget document of 2019-20. And Today after a Gap of 8 months, J&K Government has issued the Formal order for creation of posts and Advertisement of vacancies by JKSSB.

 Applicants should note that this is the Executive order released by Finance Department for creation of vacancies and the Official Notification for these posts will be announced by JKSSB in coming Days. ie with in 10 to 15 Days. 

 The Best part of this Official Order is that, you will get to Know the District wise vacancies. With 402 Panchayats and 158 vacancies, Baramulla tops the list and with 21 Panchayats and 7 vacancies, Srinagar is at the bottom.  

 In this post we will share the information, regarding the creation of 2000 District wise posts for various Panchayats in J&K. 

2000 Accounts Assistant Posts (District Wise) Break up.



 As per the Official Notification, there is 1 Post for every 2 Panchayats. Here is the District wise break up of vacancies for 2000 Accounts Assistant posts 

Eligibility Criteria and Selection Process.


i) Selection of Accounts Assistants (Panchayat) shall be made by . Service Selection Board on District level basis from among the applicants having their basic qualification as Graduation or above with minimum of 50% marks for open merit and 45% marks for . reserve categories in Commerce, Business Administration, Science, Computer Applications, IT, any other discipline with Mathematics, Statistics or Economics as one of the subjects. 

 (ii) Selection of Panchayat Accounts Assistant shall be made 100% by Direct Recruitment and a person so selected shall be on probation for a period of two years which shall include their one year training as well. 

 (iii) Selection in the Panchayat Accounts Assistants shall be appointed under SRO 202 whereunder they will draw contractual salary for ~. the five years and regular salary thereafter. Drawal of regular salary on completion of 05 years shalt also be subject to the successful qualification of Panchayat Accounts Assistant

    sir civil engg. eligible hai kya post of accounts assistant k liye ... civil engg mai maths subjcts hota hai for 1.5 yrs and computer bhi 6 mnths ka economics bhi 6 mnths ka and science for one year ....

      Why civil engineers are poking their noses in this recruitment? There are JE posts for civil engineers. They can be as contractors still they are interfering. Pait nahi bharta inka kabhi

    The candidates having below 50% must approach the court in order to get stay in against of this notification. When the board is going to conduct the exams regarding these posts and there is no watage of percentage then what percentage metters. Here in J and k the administration is under the illiterate and unsounders.
