J&K Bank invites online applications from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for the below-mentioned posts in the J&K Bank.
Post: Probationary Officers
No. of Vacancies: 250
Note: Reservation in posts for SC/ST candidates as per the specified rules.
These posts are to be filled as per District wise Requirement.
Salary: The Present basic Pay of PO in J&K Bank is Rs 23700
Probation Period: 2 years
Who can apply for JK Bank PO Recruitment?
Applicant willing to apply for PO Jobs in J&K Bank must full the below-mentioned eligibility conditions
1) State Subjects: Only Permanent residents of J&K can apply for these Jobs. Applicant must be holding a valid PRC (State Subject) of J&K.
2) Age Limit: J&K bank is looking for young and Dynamic people to run its business and such they need people under the age of 30 years
- For General:1 18 to 30 years
- For SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman:18 to 35 years
Note: The cutoff Date for Determining the Age limit is 1st January 2018
3) Education Qualifications: Applicant should be a Graduate or Post-Graduate having obtained not less than 60% Marks from a recognized University in India. Moreover, the result be declared by or before 1st Oct, 2018
Selection Process for JK Bank PO Exam
The selection process for the recruitment of Probationary Officers in J&K bank, comprises of Online Tests and Interview viz Prelims,Mains and Interview
1) Prelims Exam: All those candidates who apply for JK Bank PO Recruitment 2018,will have to appear in the Prelims Exam. Here is the Pattern of Prelims Exam
Final Selection: The Final Selection comprises of candidates performance in the Mains Examination and Interview taken together.

Note-1: Candidates will have to Score minimum cut off marks in each of the three tests to be decided by the bank.
Note-2: Candidates who Qualify each of the tests in the Prelims Exam, will be Shortlisted for Online Mains Exams. The No.of candidates to be Shortlisted for Mains Exam is 10 Times the Number of vacancies.
The Date and Schedule of J&K Bank PO Prelims Exam will be announced soon and communicated to Candidates through Official Website of J&K Bank.
2) Mains Exam: All those candidates who Qualify the Prelims Exam, will be Shortlisted for Mains Exam. Following is the pattern for J&K Bank PO Mains Exam

3) Interview: Candidates who qualify the Mains Exams, will be called for the Interview. The Number of candidates to be called for the Interview is 1:3 the No.of vacancies.
Examination Centers
J&K Bank will conduct the PO Exam at various centres within and outside the state. You have to choose at least Six Centers, out of which 3 should be outside the state.
Keep Note of the Following
1) No Tralleving allowance will be given for appearing in the Test. You have to appear at your own risk and expenses.
2) No Request for Change in Examination Centers will be Entertained.
3) Candidates will be allotted Exam Centers, other than they have opted for.
J&K Bank PO Exam Date
It is a practice with J&K Bank, that they never announce the exam dates at the time of Notification, rather these are announced only a month before the exam Dates. In the previous J&K Bank Recruitment 2015, Notification was announced in March and Dates were announced One month before the Exams.
Currently J&K Bank has not announced the Exam Dates, however, it is expected that PO Exam will be held in March 2019.

How to Apply?
Applicants willing to apply for J&K Bank PO Exam should submit their applications through online mode by following the below-mentioned Registration Schedule1) Date of Official Notification: 10th Oct, 2018
2) Starting Date of Online Registration: 20th Oct, 2018
3) Closing Date of Online Registration: 6th Nov, 2018
Online Registration: Applicants can submit their applications through online mode at the Official Website of J&K Bank. No other means/modes of application will be accepted.
Applicants should prior to submit the application form have the Scanned Images of their Picture and Signature.
