J&K Bank Banking Associate Recruitment 2018: Vacancy Details

J&K Bank invites online applications from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for the below mentioned Banking Associates

No. of Vacancies: 1200

Note: These vacancies are to be filled as per District wise Requirement. However, the bank has not show the District wise break up of posts.

Reservation: Bank will provide reservation in Jobs to SC/ST candidates as per the J&K Govt Reservation rules. However, bank has not shown any category wise break up of vacancies.

Salary: Presently, the starting basic pay is `13075/ - (With 2 Advance increments) in the scale of ` 11765 -655/3 -13730 -815/3 -16175 -980/4 -20095 -1145/7 - 28110 -2120/1 -30230 -1310/1 -31540 & other perks applicable to Banking Associates.

Joining and Probation Period

Candidates who are selected as Banking Associates in J&K Bank will have to Execute a Bond of Rs 2 Lakh for serving the bank for a minimum period of5 years. In case the candidate resigns before the said period the Bond will be executed and candidates will have to pay Rs 2 Lakh to the bank for violating the Joining Terms' and Conditions

Moreover, candidates will be on Probation period for Six Months, where they will be subjected to continuous assessment. Only those candidates who satisfactorily complete the Probation period will be confirmed in the service of bank.

Who is Eligible to Apply for Banking Associates Job in J&K Bank?

Applicants willing to apply for J&K Bank Banking Associates Recruitment 2018,must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir.

2) Age-Limit: (As on 01-01-2018): Candidate should have attained the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 32 years. ie Only those candidates born between 02-01-1986 and 01-01-2000 are eligible to apply.

There are a relaxation of 3 years in upper age limit for SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman

3) Education Qualification: Applicant should have completed Graduation / Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks.

• The result should be declared before 1st Oct, 2018.
• Graduation / PG should be from a recognized University. 
• The fraction of Percentage will be Ignored ie (54.9 % will be treated as 55%).

J&K Bank Selection Process

The Selection process for the Recruitment of Banking Associates in J&K Bank, comprises of Single Online Test Only. 

There is No Interview for Banking Associates posts in J&K Bank.

Online Test: J&K Bank, will conduct the Online Exam for Banking Associates post on the specified dates and venue as given in the Call Letter to be issued by bank few weeks before the exam date.

Keep Note of the following

1) Candidates will have to Qualify in each of the three tests separately, thereby scoring the minimum cut off marks in each of the sections. Cut off will be applied in two stages

• On Scores in Individual tests
• On Total Score

2) Only those candidates who score the minimum required cut off marks in all three tests and also rank higher in the Merit List (Total Marks Scored) will be selected for Banking Associates posts.

Examination Centers

J&K Bank, will conduct Online exam at 14 centres out of which 7 are within the state and 7 outside the state. Candidates will have to choose Six centres out of which 3 should be outside the state.

Online Registration: The Online form shall be available from 24th Oct, 2018 and you can Register till, 10th Nov, 2018. Registration Process comprises of three stages viz

Application Fees: Candidates need to pay Rs 800 as application fees through online mode only. Candidates belonging to SC/ST need to pay only Rs 600.
