Not Happy with the JKSSB 2154 Teacher Recruitment for Kashmir Division. Govt will advertise 14000 + Teacher Posts Next Month (Big Update On Teacher Vacancy)

This can be the Best New year Gift to the Unemployed youth of Jammu and Kashmir from State Government. Today (On 9th Jan, 2018) Education Minister Shri Altaf Bukhari Ji, informed that 14000 Teacher posts will be referred to the JKSSB and JKPSC Next Month. These 140000 + Posts does not include the already advertised 2154 Teacher Posts.

Out of these 14000 Posts,

1100 Posts are for School Education Department including Teachers and 10+2 Lecturers
3000 Posts are for Higher Education Department, that will include Assistant Professors.
For 17 Newly Proposed Colleges, a Total of 1100+ Posts will be referred to Recruiting Agencies, with 70 Posts for Each College.

Moreover, Recruitment Process for these Posts, won't take more than Six Months and these posts will be filled on Fast Track Basis.

So, Those who are upset with the JKSSB 2154 Teacher Recruitment Notification announced on 27th Dec, 2017, they finally have something big and better for them and with 14000 Posts, Each District and Division of State, will get adequate Share in the No. of vacancies It is pertinent to mention here that Latest Teacher Notification announced in the Last Week of Dec, 2017 is very discriminatory in nature, as 86% of the Posts were given to Kashmir Region, While Jammu gets only 14% and Ladakh gets Nil Share of vacancies.

And since the announcement of that Notification, Government is drawing Flak, mostly Coalition Partner BJP, as they have betrayed the Unemployed youth of Jammu, while they won All the Seats from the Jammu Region only. This JKSSB Teacher Notification has already put the Government on backfoot, and this announcement is seen as a repair work to the damage already done.

When 14000 Teacher Posts will be announced?

As of now, we cannot comment on the Exact Date of Official Notification, but Education Minister has hinted at the announcement of the Tentative month of Notification.

As per the information given by the Minister, Notification for Teacher posts will be announced Next month.

Who can apply for Teacher Posts in J&K?

If you are willing to apply for Upcoming Teacher Jobs in Government Schools of J&K, then you should full fill the below-mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a permanent resident of Jammu and Kashmir and should apply for vacancies for their respective District Only. However, SC Candidates can apply for any district in J&K

2) Age-Limit: Applicant should have completed the age of 18 years and maximum age should not exceed 40 years.

3) Education Qualifications: For the First Time, Recruitment of teachers in J&K, in done on Subject wise Basis. ie Applications are invited for General, Science/Maths and Urdu Teachers.

Here is the Subject wise Qualification Criteria for various teacher posts

i) General Teachers: Applicant should have completed Degree in any Discipline from a recognized University of India.

ii) Science / Maths Teacher: Applicant should have studied the following subjects in All the Years / Semesters of their Graduation Degree

Maths
Physics
Chemistry
Botany
Zoology

iii) Urdu Teacher: Applicant should be an Urdu Graduate ie He/She has studied Urdu as one of the Subjects in all the years / Semesters of Graduation Degree.

Selection Criteria: The Selection Criteria for Teacher Posts in J&K, comprises of Written Exam and Preference to Higher Qualification

i) B. Ed: 05 Points
ii) M Ed: 05 Points
iii) M Phil:01 Point
iv) Phd After M Phil: 02 Points
