Now, after Six months, Cluster University of Jammu had announced a Recruitment Notification and invited applications for various posts. But as usual, these posts turned out be Contractual posts, just like we have Academic Arrangement posts for Degree colleges of Jammu Division.

The Notification regarding the announcement of vacancies in Cluster University Jammu was published in the Daily Excelsior Newspaper and uploaded on the Official Website. As per the Cluster University Jammu's Employment Notification, Last Date to apply is 22nd July, 2017.
To those, who are new for Cluster University of Jammu, we would like to inform you, that Cluster University Jammu is a combination of City colleges of Jammu and it includes 5 Colleges : GGM. Sc. College, SPMR College of Commerce , MAM college, Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar and Government College of Education. and together these colleges come under a cluster known as Cluster University of Jammu. So, if you are willing to apply for Jobs in any of these colleges, then Cluster University Jammu is the administrative unit that will look after the hiring of staff for these Colleges.

Cluster University Jammu Recruitment 2017 : Vacancy Details.
The Registrar, cluster University of Jammu, invites applications for below mentioned various posts, purely on Contractual basis for Academic session 2017-18 OR For One year Or When the vacancy is filled by regular selection process, whichever is earlier.Post : Assistant Professors / Teaching Assistants.
Here is the List of subjects for which posts have been announced
1) English
2) Maths
3) Physics
4) Home Science
5) Chemistry
6) Commerce
7) Education.

Note: There is No mention of exact No. of subject wise vacancies and it will be known only after the completion of admission process.
Salary : As these are contractual posts, and as such appointees will be paid a fixed monthly salary on Consolidated basis. and Good is news is that, University is paying handsome fixed monthly salary
1) For NET/SET/ P HD Candidates: Rs 25000 / Month
2) For PG Candidates : Rs 20,000 / Month
Who can apply for these Jobs in Cluster University Jammu?
Applicant willing to apply for the post of Assistant Professor / Teaching Assistants in Cluster University of Jammu, should full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions.
Qualification : Applicant must have good academic record and must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks at the Post Graduate Level in the concerned subject from any recognized Indian University.
Applicant must note that NET/SET/SLET shall remain the minimum eligibility criteria to be appointed as Assistant Professor in Colleges OR Universities and Exemption for clearing the NET/SET/SLET is provided to those who have registered for M Phil OR PHD before July, 2009, as per the UGC Regulation 2009 ( Minimum standard and Procedure for Award of Ph. D. Degree).
Note: In case , University, did not find suitable candidates having NET/SET / PH. D, then they will consider candidates having Master Degree in Concerned subject with minimum 55% marks for Teaching Assistant post
Selection Process: The Selection process for the recruitment of Candidates comprises of Short Listing process and Interview.
