Today, Office of Assistant Director, Food and Civil Supplies, Anantnag and Budgam, have released their respective Recruitment Notifications for the hiring of Contractual staff for implementation of End to End computerization of TPDS (Targeted Public Distribution System) Operations.

Applicants must note that these are only Contractual posts and these are valid as per the provisions of the Contract and you cannot claim for full time employment in the respective Government Office. 

A total of 36 posts are advertised , out of which 22 posts are for District Anantnag and 13 posts for District Budgam. Applicants, must note that basic Qualification for this Job in only 10+2 and those, who have higher Qualification will not get any advantage in the selection process.

In this article, we will share the complete details of various jobs announced by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumers Affairs Department, J&K (Budgam and Anantnag). 

J&K  Consumers Affairs Departments Recruitment 2017 : Vacancy Details

Respective Offices of  Assistant Director  Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs in Anantnag and Budgam invites applications in prescribed format from the permanent residents of J&K, who belong to the Budgam and Anantnag Districts for the filling of below mentioned positions.

No. of Vacancies: 36

Post: Technical Manpower

1) Vacancies in District Anantnag : 22 posts

  • District Level (In the office of AD, FCS, CA) : 01 post
  • TSO Level (In the office of AD, FCS, CA): 21 Posts

2) Vacancies in District Budgam : 14 posts

  • District Level (In the office of AD, FCS, CA) : 01 post
  • TSO Level (In the office of AD, FCS, CA): 15 Posts

Salary: As these are contractual posts, so, there won't be any salary as per the Pay-Scale. Rather, appointees will get monthly hiring charges of Rs 10,000 only

Duration of Contract: 06 Month only.

Note: These are Non extendable posts and contract of appointment will end in 6 months.

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Applicants willing to apply for these Jobs in Food and Supplies Departments, they should full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Applicant should be a permanent resident of J&K, belonging to Budgam Or Anantnag Districts only

Note : As these are District Level posts, so applicants belonging on their respective districts can only apply.

2) Age Limit (As on 01-01-2017): Applicants should have attained the age of 18 years and the maximum age should not exceed 40 years.

3) Educational Qualification:  Applicant must have passed 10+2 along with Diploma OR Degree in Computer Applications from recognized Institute Or University in India. 

Selection Process: The Selection process for the Recruitment of contractual posts comprises of Shortlisting of candidates based on Academic Merit for Interview. Here is point wise weightage of Selection criteria

1) 10+2: 60 Points
2) Degree / Diploma in Computer Applications: 20 Points
3) Interview (Viva Voce): 20 Points

How to Apply ?

Applicants who full fill the above mentioned eligibility conditions and willing to apply for these posts in J&K food and Civil Supplies Department, must submit their application is prescribed format before 25th May, 2017

Application form: Forms are to be submitted in prescribed format only. You can obtain the application forms from the Stationery / Photostat shops in your area. Here is the List of Documents that you need to attach with the Application forms.

1) PRC (State Subject)
2) Date of Birth Certificate (Matric Diploma)
3) Computer Applications Degree / Diploma
4) Class 12th Marks Certificate
5) Affidavit from 1st Class Magistrate, that applicant shall not claim for employbility beyond the hiring period of Six months.

Receipt of Application forms: The Duly filled in application forms, along with respective Documents, should be submitted in the Office of Assistant Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (Anantnag and Budgam)

Note: Applicants from Anantnag District should submit their applications form at Assistant Director FCS & CA, Anantnag, while Budgam Candidates should submit their form at respective Office of Assistant Director FCS & CA , Budgam
