JKPSC invites online applications from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir, for the below mentioned posts .

  • Open Merit: 07 posts

Pay-Scale : Appointees to District Litigation Officer, will get salary, as per the Pay-Scale of Rs 9300- Rs 34800 (GP: Rs 4800)


Who can apply for DLO Jobs by JKPSC ?



Applicants, willing to apply for DLO posts, must full fill the below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Domicile: Only permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir, can apply for these posts.

2) Age Limit: Applicants, must have attained the age of 18 years and Maximum age should not exceed 40 years. However there is relaxation is upper age for reserved categories, as per the criteria given below
  • Physically Challenged: 42 years
  • SC/ST/RBA/SLC: 43 years
  • Ex-Serviceman: 48 years
3) Educational Qualification: Applicant, should be a Law Graduate and Completed LLB Degree from a recognized University in India. 

4) Experience: Applicant must have 2 years of working experience of Practice at Bar. For that applicant should obtain the Certificate from Concerned Principal District and session judge.

Selection Process: The Selection process for the Recruitment of District Litigation Officer, comprises of  Written test and followed by an Oral test. Here is the Criteria of JKPSC for calling candidates for Oral test


The Syllabus for Written test in given in the Annexure A of the Official JKPSC Notification.

Examination Center: The written exam, will be conducted at various Locations in cities of Jammu and Srinagar. JKPSC will allot the exam centers at its own discretion and candidates, and request for Change of Examination centers, will not be entertained.

How to Apply ?

Applicants, who full fill the above mentioned eligibility conditions, must submit the online application forms, before the closing date ie before 2nd February, 2017. 

Online Applications: Applications are to be submitted through prescribed online form only. For that you have to logon to the Official website of JKPSC (www.jkpsc.nic.in) and click on the Apply online link. There after you have to follow the on Screen Instructions to submit the application form.

Applicants should also keep the Scanned copy of their Photo and Signature before proceeding to submit the online application form

Application fees: Applicants will have to pay the requisite amount of application fees through a system generated challan form. Application fee is to be deposited in any J&K bank branch. The closing date for depositing the application fee is 2nd Feb, 2017.

Receipt of Application: After submitting the application form, applicants should also have to submit the Print out of their online application form along with other documents either by person or by post in the Office of JKPSC
