This creation of Jobs, is being seen as a phase in the Development of Sports culture in J&K.

In this post, we will discuss the Latest Jobs in Directorate of J&K Youth Services and Sports. Applicants willing to apply for these Jobs, must submit their applications in prescribed format before 20th Feb, 2017. Job Profile: A Groundsman Job is take care of All the Ground related activities, which include

• Maintenance of Ground
• Watering the Ground, as per the Instructions and Guidelines.
• Clearing the Water Logged areas.
• Moving the Roller on the Playing area

What is the Eligibility Criteria ?

Those, willing to apply for Groundsman Jobs in the Department of J&K Sports and Youth Affairs, must meet these below mentioned eligibility conditions

1) Applicant should be a permanent resident of J&K.

2) Age Criteria: Minimum age required in 18 years and Upper age limit is 40 years for General and In-Service Candidates. For other following upper is considered

• 43 years : All Reserved category candidates
• 42 years : For Physically Challenged.
• 48 years : For Ex-Servicemen.

3) Educational Qualifications: As these are Class IVth posts, therefore, the Minimum Qualification is Matric and Maximum Qualification is 10+2.

Remember, there is No weighatge for Qualification above 10+2.

Selection Process: Although, there is nothing mentioned in the Notification, regarding the Selection Criteria, but, as per the Selection Process undertaken for the Recruitment of Class IVth posts, it will comprises of Weight age in Qualifying Exam along with Interview.

Applicants, willing to apply for these Groundsman Jobs in J&K, should submit their applications before 20th Feb, 2017

Application Fees: Applicants need to pay Rs 100, as application fees in the form of Treasury Receipts Debitable to Account Head 0202 Edu 800 -other receipts. Applicants need to attach the Receipt of Treasury Receipt along with application form

Receipt of Application forms: The duly filled in application form, complete in all respects, along with below mentioned documents, should reach the Office of concerned  District Youth Services and Sports Officer by hand or by post before 20th Feb, 2017 (Upto 4:00 PM)

List of Documents to be submitted along with application form

1) Date of Birth Certificate

2) PRC

3) Marks card of 10th class

4) Marks Card of 12th class

5) Category Certificate (if any)

6) Treasury Receipt.
