The Notification regarding the Jobs in Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) is released online at the EDB's Official Website and the same will be published in the Local Newspapers of J&K in coming Days.
The Online Registration will start from 10th April and you have got 14 Days time (ie 24th April) to submit your application form online.

Ellaquai Dehati Bank invites applications for the posts mentioned below.
No. of Vacancies: 130 Posts
1) Office Assistant (Multipurpose): 64 Posts
2) Officer Scale-I: 51 Posts
3) Officer Scale-II: 13 Posts
4) Officer Scale-III: 2 Posts
Salary : Appointees will be paid salary as per the Pay-Scale given below
What is the Eligibility Criteria ?
It is worth mentioning here that Recruitment in Ellaquai Dehati Bank (EDB) is done based on the Candidates scores obtained in the IBPS RRB Exam.2014 So, only those candidates who have qualified the IBPS RRB Exam (Held in Sept/Oct 2014) are eligible to apply for these posts.
Candidates must meet the below mentioned Eligibility conditions.
1) Applicant must have been declared Qualified in the IBPS RRB Exam held in Sept/Oct 2014 and must have obtained the scores as given below
For Officer Scale-I
2) Local Language Proficiency: Applicants must have proficiency in the local language of the concerned state for Assistant and Officer Scale-I Post. For determining the Local Language proficiency, applicant must have studied any of these languages ( Kashmiri, Dogri, Punjabi, Pahari, Gojri Ladakhi, Balti/Pali, Dardi, Hindi & Urdu) at 10th Level.
Selection Process : The selection process adopted for the recruitment to all the above mentioned posts shall be done on the basis of scored obtained by the candidates in the IBPS Exam and Interview taken together.
Interview: Depending upon the no. of candidates who have applied the bank will call the candidates for Interview in the ration of 1:3 to the no. of vacancies. The shortlisting of candidates for Interview will be done on the basis of scores obtained in the IBPS Exam.
The weight age of Interview is 30 Marks and Venue of Interview is likely to be in Srinagar. The exact address will be mentioned in the Call letter.

4) After submitting the online form, take print out of the System Generated application form and keet it ready along with other required documents for Interview
