J&K Govt Teacher Jobs 2014 : 8475 Posts (Bumper Recruitment)

A few days back, J&K Govt have announced that it will recruit over 28000 Teachers on Contractual basis and keeping up its promise, today the School Education Department, Govt of Jammu and Kashmir had announced the First Phase of the Recruitment and released the District wise Notification for 8475 Teacher Posts.

This is one the Biggest Teacher Recruitment in J&K.However, the bulk of vacancies are shared by Jammu (1296 Posts) , Baramulla (910 Posts) and Kathua (770 Posts) Districts. The Recruitment will be District wise and as such , candidates can apply for teaching positions only in their respective District.

J&K Teacher Recruitment 2014 : Vacancy Details

Important: Before you proceed to apply for these teaching Jobs advertised by School Education Department, here are a few Important Guidelines

1) Remember, this is not a Permanent Job, but rather a Contractual Job.

2) The contract will either be for period of 1 year (Current academic Session) or Till the SSB completes the regular selection of teachers

3) The Maximum Salary that will be paid per month to the Contractual teachers should not exceed Rs 3000/-

Important Terms and Conditions for Recruitment

1) Applicant must be permanent resident of J&K.

2) Preference will be given to those who have higher Qualification Like B Ed. and M Ed.

3) Candidates will have to Submit in Written, that they claim no responsibility for this Job as being permanent Govt Job.

4) The contract will either be period for 1 academic year Or Till the SSB recruits the teacher through regular selection, which ever is earlier.

5) Selection Process: The Selection process for the Recruitment of Teachers in purely on the Basis of Merit (ie Marks scored by the Candidates in Academic Qualification. However, preference will be given to those with B Ed and M Ed.

6) Applications: The Applications will be invited District wise by respective Chief Education Officers (CEO) under their Signatures.
