What is the Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Engineer Jobs by JKPSC ?
Applicants willing to apply for Assistant Engineer jobs in JKPSC (Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission) are required to fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions:-
Domicile: Applicants must be the permanent resident of J&K and must have a valid State-Subject of J&K in his/her name.
Age limit: Candidates’ age should be between 18 to 37 years as on 1st January 2013. However, there is Age-Relaxation, as per the J&K Government Rules
Educational Qualifications: Applicants must full fill the below mentioned Post-wise Educational Qualification Criteria.
- For Assistant Civil Engineers: - Applicants must have possessed Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India.
- For Assistant Mechanical Engineers: - Applicants must have completed their Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or AMIE Section (A&B) India.
Selection process: Depending upon the no Short listed candidates will be called for screening test and interview after that they will be appointed for the posts.
How to apply?
Application fees: The application Fee for General Category is Rs 500/- and Rs 250/-for OBC, SC, ST and other Reservation candidates.
Application form: The OMR Application form, can be obtained from the Counters of J&K Bank at JKPSC's Office in Jammu and Srinagar against the cash Payment of Rs 500 (For General Candidates) Rs 25 (for Others).
The Duly filled in Application form, along with mentioned Certificates/ Documents must reach the Commissions Office, before 15th November, 2013.
It is worth mentioning here that , in No case, applications received after the Last Date will be entertained and will be summarily rejected.
